Bedsit apartment in the converted attic of Victorian terraced townhouse near York city centre. The house is only minutes from the train station, racecourse, and the historic city walls. The flat has its own kitchen and private bathroom.

The space
The attic room would comfortably accommodate a couple. There is a double bed, a small dining table with seating for two and a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine.

The flat is accessed through the main house, so guests will have access to the internal corridors. The rest of the house is private.

The proximity to all local amenities is fantastic. We can walk to the city centre in 10 minutes or less, where there is always something happening. Similarly we are very close to York's famous historical attractions, such as the Minster, Cliffords Tower and Castle Museum; you walk through, and can walk along, the Medieval City walls to get to and from the Centre. In the other directions we are a short walk from the famous Knavesmire racecourse, Rowntrees Park and the river Ouse. Further afield, but within an hour, lie the North York's Moors and the Yorkshire Dales.

The train station is only a few moments walk - within 500m when the station car park rear gate is open - so getting out to explore more of Yorkshire is easy. There are train links into the Moors, Dales and the Peak district. The road and rail network give easy access to Leeds Bradford and Manchester airports. York lies close to terrific motorway links such as the M1/A1, M62 and A19. Unfortunately like many Cities, parking is restricted but there are plenty of car parks and areas to use. The nearest car park is at the railway station.

Tea and coffee provided.
Towels provided.

Guest access

Other things to note
Please note the check in time is 1500. Because we need time to turn the flat around this can’t be altered. Luggage can be left at the railway station if you arrive earlier in the City. Similarly checkout out is 1200 for the same reason. Thank you.
