Communication with Christian before booking his apartment was smooth and easy. He replies fast and gives answers to my questions. We even exchanged emails so he can send me additional pictures of his apartment.
After booking, he told us that he will not be able to meet us since he's on vacation. So he asked his cousin to meet us. However, a day or so before we arrived he sent us a message telling us instructions on where we'd find the key. Meaning, no one will meet us anymore. So we looked for the place on our own. We were able to get into the building but one very important information he forgot to tell us was: which exact room is his apartment on the third floor. Though afraid, we tried to open each door on the third floor once. We didn't push it if the lock won't bulge on the first try thinking that there might be someone inside who could get mad or complain. In the end, we had no choice but to book one night at a nearby hotel.
The following day when we finally had all our phonea charged and working, we contacted Christian to explain what happened. He said he thought he told us his exact apartment. But that wasn't the case. If only he had, we could have prevented that one night last minute hotel booking.
After what happened, he was willing to refund us the money we paid the hotel. Or at least we thought so. We left his apartment on Jul31 but until today (7aug) he hasn't refunded anything yet. Even if i already sent him the receipt from the hotel as he requested.
So yes, the apartment is in a good location with very tiny shower and an owner who can't assist with your arrival and suddenly changes the original plan and doesn't have a word of honor.
I will not recommend this place.
