Wonderful 5-night stay at Christopher's Bloomsbury flat. Location was ideal for us. Central location for repeated museum visits (walk to Brit Mus; same tube line as V&A, Sci Mus, Nat Hist), ease of Underground (pleasant 1 block walk to Russell Sq), and use of Hop On Hop Off Bus (nearby Orange line stop). Solid location for Heathrow arrival (take Piccadilly Line Underground, not Heathrow Express -- less expensive and much faster). Great quiet neighborhood with grocery, chemist, restaurants. Flat is extremely spacious with an authentic Bloomsbury artist-author vibe. The key decor is books, and really interesting books at that. Bathroom is recently remodeled, clean, with nice shower and tub. Twin beds in second bedroom are solid comfortable beds (not cots or air mattresses as commonly found in many airbnb flats). Christopher was easy going and charming, gracious about us arriving nearly 2 hours later than we'd attempted. Note the 4-flight walk-up -- perhaps not for everyone, but we found it quite doable. Neighborhood is safe; we let teens wander and hang in the local used book store. Parents wishing to not yet expose kids to some mature sociological / academic topics might find the book shelves counter to that goal. (All tasteful, academic only. Led to some interesting conversations with our teens.)

Place is great. In central London and super close to shops. The stairs were a bit of a hike to get up with all my bags but other than that everything else was pleasant! I'd stay here again.

We really enjoyed our trip to London. Chris was a terrific host, responded quickly to messages, and provided helpful information. The apartment was clean, located just a few blocks from mass transit, and many restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and shopping areas were located nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

Christopher is a great host, who went above and beyond to ensure good experience. Apartment is in the great location - short walk to Eurostar trains, British Museum and a couple of subway(tube) stations, but on the side street. Supermarket is also very close ( I was traveling with kids) It's hard for me to find apartment with the right bed configuration, this one has a twin and a cot int the second bedroom, so it worked. All -important for my kids wifi worked well. Apartment is not new, and is on the 5th floor without a lift, but it was good value for the money.
