We really felt home in Alessio's flat!
The rooms are a bit narrow, e.g. only one person at once can use the kitchen and you need to watch your head when you enter the bathroom or the living room. The roof terrace was awesome and we used it a lot. Yes, we had air conditioning inside - it was installed in the hallway, so it didn't have such a big effect on the other rooms. We are still very happy having choosen Lido for our stay, because Venice itself was way too busy for a comfortable stay and we as well wanted a possibility to go into the sea. The way to the beach itself was quite short, but the nearest beaches are private (for people who own a cottage there), so you need to walk a couple of minutes before you're allowed to lay down somewhere. The supermarket was a bit hard to find and not really close, but no problem if one uses the bus.
Alessio really cared for us, as he already bought some milk and made some icetea at the check-in-day, took preventive actions for mosquitos, prepared a venice map and responded and helped immediatly when we had problems. Plus he tried his best to communicate with us in our native language, german.
We would come again!
