Bill's place has an excellent location in a culturally diverse neighborhood with street festivals; Caribbean food; plenty of grocery stores, shops and services; and only minutes walk to a central subway station; and very close to Prospect Park, which has a whole host of events going on or simple beautiful walks in the beautiful gardens. Bill was extremely quick to respond to any questions, requests or to offer advice on things to do or see. We also got great help from Joseph, his helper, on most any and everything. The neighborhood is cheaper to live in longer term than NYC, of course, so a definite plus. Having just left the place, we already miss the neighborhood and its quick access to all of New York.

I stayed in this apartment with a friend for only 3 weeks of my planned 6 week stay. Eventually I couldn't handle the issues anymore and had to change apartments. But if the problems are fixed this apartment has potential. Positives: -Bill is fast to respond to questions or problems and have someone come to help or fix most problems and bring necessities for the apartment -Large flatscreen with Apple TV made watching movies or YouTube great -Large apartment space -Large refrigerator/freezer -Large oven/stove -1st floor, so only 4 stairs to enter building -Close to prospect park and the metro to get to Manhatten or Barclays center in a short time Negatives: -Not the nicest zone, but bearable. -Basic essentials were missing: Hair dryer, iron, smoke detector, cooking utensils, dish drying rack, soap, shampoo, sponges - though eventually replaced. -The apartment was always humid and at first was cold so a portable heater was needed to be brought in. -An a/c unit wasn't in the apartment upon arrival as it should have been, I thought it could help with the humidity but because it was cold at first the a/c was forgotten about. It was eventually brought in...the day before I checked out early. -The view out the window is nothing but walls and trash of the neighbor buildings. -Neighbors are yelling and you can hear people walking heavily at all hours. Though a fan or tv blocks most of the sound. -The living room furniture was ripped, sagging, and extremely uncomfortable after 5 minutes. Springs were sticking out. -The bed sagged but Bill had it replaced by one of his assistants the next day. But the box frame was the problem. I told Bill and his assistant but nothing happened. So I took the bed and box frame off of the riser and set it on the floor to deal with the problem. -The remodeling of the apartment left a few holes under the kitchen sink cabinet and bathroom cabinet. Also around the stove was dirty and not something that could be cleaned. -When I arrived there were insect and mouse traps in the apartment. I probably killed two centipedes a week. And eventually a mouse was in the apartment and we found mouse poop. This is what took things over the edge and finally I was able to get out of this apartment. By the time I left the apartment was a little more comfortable with things like a microwave, a/c, coffee table and rug. But it was too late, took too long, and the mouse and insects were too much.

Fantastic. The place was spacious and very comfortable. It was located very close to the subway and many stores, restaurants farmers market (Prospect Park) and the Brooklyn museum. It was very quiet, Clean and in a prime location. Wifi was great. Bill was a great in responding and the check-in was a breeze. Hope to see you again! Cheers

Bill was great and easily accessible. If an issue ever arose, he was prompt in solving it and providing my friend and I with everything we thought necessary.  He was  polite, respectful and I would stay at one of his places again.
