¡Hola!

Welcome to my cozy home! It's located in North Boulder on the 4th (top) floor of an apartment building. It has views to the East, South, and West from the balcony and is located in a quiet and peaceful part of town.

This apartment is unique in that its primary purpose is to be my home rather than a rental property. It has the personal feel that comes with a place that is taken care of and lived in. The space gets a lot of natural light and the views of the mountains are beautiful.

The plants inside give off lots of life and energy. They are very low maintenance and need to be watered once a week.

There is a gas grill on the deck for your use.

With the rental agreement you have the opportunity to join me working and harvesting from my 560 sq ft garden plot that is ten minutes away by bicycle (season dependent). It's all organic. The specifics can be discussed further in detail if you are interested.

You will have access to everything in the apartment minus the contents of the closet at the entrance where I store my clothes and some personal items.

Kitchen:
You can use everything in the kitchen which includes; plates, glasses, bowls, silverware for 4-6 people, pots, pans, blender, food processor, knives, cutting boards, coffee maker, tea pot, mugs, etc. There are over 20 dried herbs and spices that you can cook with and some fresh herbs for you to harvest as well.

Bedroom:
The bedroom window faces south and every morning you are greeted with the light shining on the horizon.

In the bedroom you will find a queen size bed, two empty dressers, a queen size blow up mattress (stored under the bed), closet with hangers, extra blanket, and two bookshelves.

Living Room:
The main room has one large south facing sliding door that opens up to a balcony with views of the mountains to the West.

The couch in the living room has a full size mattress inside. In the closet there are DVD's (for if you have a laptop), a few board games and decks of cards, stationary, and materials for painting, drawing, coloring, sculpy, etc. (for young children or those artistically inclined). There is also a basketball, soccer ball, jump rope, and an elastic exercise band all for your use.

Bathroom:
In the bathroom there are plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, and a blow drier.

In the complex:
There is an indoor pool in the clubhouse with a sauna that you can use.

You would meet me on the first day to get the keys, i'll give you a quick orientation to the place, and answer any questions you may have. I will be staying less than a mile away and will be available for whatever you need.

I am available via phone, email, or text and will be very attentive to anything you may need. I have been living in Boulder for almost four years and can help with suggestions on what to do and where to go based on your interests.

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You can walk to the grocery store, a few good restaurants and coffee shops. It is a 15 min walk to the 29th street mall and many other shopping plazas on 28th street. It is nicely located in Boulder but not in the Downtown area.

There are a couple of bus lines right by the complex. There is also plenty of free parking on the street if you have a car. It is never an issue to find parking.

Pearl Street:
-45 min walk
-10 min by car
-30 min by bus
-15 min by bike

El Dora Ski resort:
-40 min by car (from my apartment)
-50 min by bus (from Pearl St.)

Denver:
-35 min (depending on traffic) by car
-45 min by bus (from Pearl St. depending on where in Denver you want to go)

Airport:
-40 min by car
-75 min by bus

The apartment is very comfortable, clean, and is in a great location. One of my favorite parts is waking up to see an excellent view of the flat irons every morning. Francisco is a wonderful host as well - very communicative and truly cares that his guest are comfortable. We will definitely stay again the next time we visit Boulder!

Our stay at Francisco's place was wonderful. The apartment is great, nicely decorated and clean. Francisco was a great host, very responsive, polite and helpful. We would totally recommend staying at his place. The views of the mountains from the varanda are amazing. Grilling burgers at the varanda was awesome!

Not only was Francisco just an ultimately cool dude, he was more than hospitable when I first arrived. He showed me everything in the house, which was super clean, open and relaxing, but even offered me food from his garden and tips on places to go. During our stay one of the lights blew out and he was on it right away setting up a lighting rig while he fixed the problem. Stay at this home! You won't regret it and it will truly be a comfortable stay. 10 out of 10.

Had a great experience-- the pictures were true to life, the view of the Flatirons is gorgeous. Francisco has a deck full of plants that create a very cool environment. As he said, this is truly a home. Well stocked kitchen (including herbs to cook with) and a comfortable bed. I stayed here for almost three months and loved it.

Francisco User Profile

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I moved to Staten Island, NY with my family when I was 4 years old and when I was 14 I moved to West Hartford, CT. I spent my high school, college, and post college years in CT. In 2012 I moved out to Colorado for a change in lifestyle. I have mainly worked in education and continue to do so here in Boulder.

I have many passions that I enjoy everyday and others not as often as I would like. I find time to travel, love meeting new people, gardening, cooking, and any activity that gets me into the mountains.

Happy travels!
