Interaction with guests

I work in Salem so I am always nearby if guests need anything during the day. I am always available on my cellphone by call or text. If I do not hear from our guests I usually try to check in at least once to see how they are enjoying the property.

Other things to note

We prefer to rent to families or large groups of friends traveling to Salem for weddings or to see the sights in Salem. This is not a party house! It is in a quiet neighborhood with close neighbors on either side so please respect our neighbors and do not have large groups outside after 10pm. It is located in a safe neighborhood right down the street from the Salem Police station and only a mile from Salem Hospital in case of emergencies.

Excellent location. We walked to everything. Guests need to remember that this is a historic house - the stairs are steep, the floors creak and the bathrooms are small. Phil was very responsive and helpful!

Phil responded to our questions within the hour. House was big enough to sleep our large group.

This home is quirky and great. The layout is a little odd -- very tall and narrow and many of the rooms are smaller than you would probably expect in a newer home -- but we loved exploring it and experiencing such a historic building. The location was excellent, plenty of parking for our four vehicles, ample cooking supplies, very comfortable beds, and even two kitchens! Thank you, Phil! We also liked the backyard.
