Funky uptown studio with queen-size Casper bed (and single aerobed) and newly renovated bathroom. Two blocks from Central Park, close to Columbia, St. John's Cathedral, subway lines, restaurants and bars; 10-minute train ride to Midtown. Stocked kitchen, WiFi, nice light. No TV.
This is a fully furnished one-room studio with a galley kitchen, exposed brick walls and hardwood floors. The apartment is decorated with a mix of simple wood furniture and a few antiques, plus a lot of art and books. The bathroom has been recently renovated and is in mint condition. It's a third-floor walkup.
The apartment is a great base from which to explore New York, with convenient subway access. There are also several parks: Central, Riverside, Morningside and the tiny but lovely Strauss parks are all blocks away. Hawaiian, Thai, Indian, Japanese and Italian food, plus several bars and pubs, are all within a 5-minute walk. Also it's about a 7-minute walk to the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine and a 15-minute walk to Columbia University.
