Absolutely stunning scenery in every direction, great accommodation, delicious meal from Antoinette, who was kind enough to go to a lot of effort to make a whole separate evening meal to accommodate my brother's allergies, as well as for breakfast. Very interesting farm tour with beautiful views! Would thoroughly recommend to anyone. Thank you Richard and Antoinette!

Just fantastic. We took the farm tour (paid for it because stayed only one night) and found it to be fascinating and well worth it. The cottage is large and well appointed, and the views are exceptional. Richard was a great host. If you're looking for a unique experience in an incredible setting, we highly recommend.

This stay was a lovely change-of-pace for our NZ tour in that we got to stop and completely relax. Richard was very generous in the time he gave to giving us a farm tour and ensuring we had everything we needed. Our two boys (12 yo and 10yo) loved the farm tour especially riding on the back of the ute. Playing with and walking the dogs was a treat and the swimming pool and spa bath felt like a classy resort. We left feeling completely relaxed. The house is well appointed and was well designed for our family of four. The relaxation, the views and an insight into farm life was great - as was the chance to catch up on washing and have it dry in an instant thanks to the Canterbury sunshine and wind.

We loved our stay at this beautiful farm - surrounded by mountains, a lovely warm cottage and Richard was a very warm, friendly host. We highly recommend it.

The guest house on Richard's farm is clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We had only a quick overnight stay, and so were unable to enjoy the farm the way some other visitors have, but it suited our circumstances just fine. Richard was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I'd certainly recommend a stay for those who find themselves in the area.

This farm homestay gives you a good idea of farm living in North Canterbury. Richard was very welcoming and the detached cottage is private, clean and well appointed (including baby travel cot and high chair which was useful for our 12 month old daughter). The location is rural at the end of a dirt road. We did the farm tour which was inclusive and enjoyed it.

I stayed at the cottage for three nights with my wife and our two kids. We absolutely loved it. Richard is an excellent host, and we really enjoyed the farmtour. The cottage is very spacious and had everything we needed. We used the swimmingpool a lot. Its a very nice place to relax and enjoy your vacation, just what we needed after some days 'on the road'. We used a lot of time playing with the two dogs, and the four small puppies were adorable - the kids loved them. What a great end to our SouthIsland adventure.
