The Salt House has had various uses - it was originally used for salting and storing bacon. In more recent years it has been a coal shed and then a children's play house before conversion to living space
Guests have a private gated access to a well equipped cottage and a small enclosed dog proof garden with a table and chairs. The garden is surrounded by woodland.
Interaction with guests
We live in the adjacent farmhouse but we shall always try to be around when you arrive. We have included as many details as possible on the welcome sheet but if you need more information or advice please feel free to ask.
Other things to note
The cottage has electric water heating, electric radiators and a wood burning stove for use in colder weather. A daily basket of logs is included.
Wi-fi is available but is quite slow.
There is a TV and DVD player.,
There is a dishwasher and washing machine.
Please note that we do not accept bookings from people who smoke.
If bringing a dog please always pick-up after your pet.
Pets should not be left unattended in the cottage.
