1 bedrooms for rent - (Bedroom 1 in the picture is the one that is for rent. Bedroom 2 is in use) in a big and quite apartment located in a neighborhood famous for its architecture. We also have city bikes right out side of the appartment for rent.

The space

The housing area is uniquly designed by arkitekt Kristen Tobias Rivertz.

Guest access

Take bus 37 to the bus stop Sagene from Oslo S, or bus 34 or 54 to the bus stop Arkiekt Rivertz plass. Central Station, Oslo S and Jernbanetorget is all the same place, right where you go out of the train station.

Interaction with guests

I have lived in Oslo for more than 10 years and can advise on places to see and what to do.

Other things to note

Remember to bring your travel socket switcher if you are coming from a place that does not use the European standard socket. It could also be that I have one extra in the apartment.

This was my first experience of airbnb and I wasn’t disappointed. Sharthan seems to do a bit of travelling and as mentioned in previous comments, his brother Castilnano was at the apartment as my host. Communication from Sharthan before my arrival was spot on and he kept in touch until I got to the apartment, his directions and advice on transport were great. I arrived and there was a detailed welcome note with maps and touristy things to do and see. I was greeted by Castilnano later in the evening and made to feel at ease. He showed me around the apartment and said to treat it like my home. This apartment is very central and for the price especially in Oslo awesome! The apartment had everything I needed and it was clean, it’s located in the hipster area of town and there are great bars, shops and restaurants nearby. There are 2 main buses that go into the centre taking 10mins or you can walk it. I basically walked all over expect my last day were I cycled (Castilnano let me use his bike card) and used transportation to get to places quickly before my flight. Transportation in Oslo is cheap for a day ticket (cheaper than a beer out!). I would highly recommend staying at this apartment, its accessible, central, clean, safe and the host is a down to earth helpful guy, thanks!

I haven't had the chance to meet with Sharthan as he was away during my stay, but I was very well hosted by his brother. The flat, is big, very clean with a lot of light. The bedroom is a good size room. The flat is located literally 10mins by bus from central Oslo. There are two direct buses that come to the accommodation and the bus stop is literally just under the flat windows. Very handing to commute to and from. Sharthan's brother was very helpful in any ways, he has made my stay easy and enjoyable. Sharthan was really good at communicating with me, even though not in the country, he was also very caring to make sure my stay was as nice as possible. The only one thing that need to be mentioned and it is only according to my needs & likes, I would say that the mattress is very very soft. Too soft for me as I prefer my bed (Mattress) harder. But this is only entirely my preference.... Overall I would give 9/10 for the accommodation and would recommend anyone who are travelling to Oslo to book with Sharthan.

I really enjoyed my stay in Oslo! Sharthan's apartment is nice and I felt right at home. Sharthan's brother made me feel very welcome in the apartment and helped me plan out what to see in Oslo. He even helped me with the bus routes which was really easy as the buses are right out side of his place. Everything in the apartment worked well and I had full access to the kitchen. There are about 3-4 groceries stores with a few blocks from his place (really helpful). I am so happy with my stay. The next time I am in Oslo, I would definitely stay here again.
