Brock was very communicative and accommodating so we could have the key picked up at a nearby location. The neighborhood was pretty awesome; Joe & The Juice just around the corner was my morning stop every day. Shopping and subway stations super close. It was mostly quiet save for some maintenance guys (I think?) yelling up and down the stairs two days in a row, but it was during the morning and I was leaving anyway. I liked the privacy of the building. AC unit worked well as long as the curtains were pulled back and not blocking it. Kitchen was cute although I didn't use it except for storing leftovers in the fridge. Bathroom was tiny but efficient; shower was nice and roomy and everything was clean. Room for all of my toiletries. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would've liked, but I slept fine and the pillows and bedding were nice. (I tend to sleep like crap in new surroundings anyway, so I can't fully blame the bed!) Brock checked in on me to make sure I made it into the apartment on the first day and then again a day or two later to make sure everything was ok. I accidentally broke a wine glass while cleaning it and he was very kind--I offered to pay for it and he said no need. The whole space was very clean and I appreciated that. He does have a lot of personal belongings around that you have to be careful of, but it wasn't cluttered or unappealing to the eye. Beautiful little apartment. I'd like to stay again!

Brock was a great host and quickly responded to all my questions, and the apartment was well-designed and a cozy little oasis in an awesome neighborhood. Don't expect quiet, as it's on a super busy street on the second floor above a (fantastic) bar/restaurant, but the proximity to everything is well worth it.

I was very happy in Brock's apartment! It's a fantastic location - I was closer than I thought to Little Italy, Chinatown, and a variety of subway lines, and there's a huge amount of restaurants to choose from. By Manhattan standards, the apartment is a great size. The bed is super comfortable and and the room is bright when you want it to be and blackout curtains easily block out the street lights at night. This is NYC, so you will hear a little bit of noise from the street at night and if you're a light sleeper, bear that in mind, but it didn't bother me at all. Brock was very responsive to my messages and questions, we easily found check-in/out times that worked for both of us, and I would absolutely recommend his place to anyone. Looks just like the pictures!

Brock was an excellent host! His apartment was exactly as described... an ideal location in Soho. Check in / check out was flawless. It was a warm few days in NYC and the AC worked extremely well. Thanks Brock!

Great location and well decorated spot. Perfect for our stay and was very easy to get around town with the subway being so close.
