In the immediate vicinity are numerous enchanting hiking trails, bicycle paths, the ViaRegiaWeg and also the Jakobsweg leads almost directly past the house.
The Bürgerpark with Haselsee, the Via Regia lookout tower invite you to go for a walk, jogging, skating and walking.
The Wasserkuppe as a hiking and winter sports paradise can be reached in about 30 min by car.
Bad Hersfeld with its summer festival can be reached in 18 min by regional train. And the cathedral and musical city of Fulda can be reached in 11 minutes by regional train.
Hünfeld has an outdoor and indoor pool and numerous restaurants - including some with delivery service.
