Great location90% of recent guests gave this home’s location a 5-star rating.

This cute and quirky cottage overlooks the ancient holy well of St. James on the Wild Atlantic Way in the tiny village of Ardfield. The cottage, part of a barn conversion, is small but charming with lots of old wood, vintage stuff and charming hosts! Ardfield is just 4 rambling miles from Clonakilty, which has loads of restaurants and pubs with live music. It's perfect for a couple or a family with small children (not 4 adults!)

We had a great stay with Rosie and Mike. Two adults, two kids, and a baby, and we all fit just fine. The hosts are amazing and we hope to be back sometime! Thank you, Rosie!

Absolutely loved staying and Rosie and Mike's stone cottage. The location was wonderful - only a short distance from the sea. The cottage had so much character and our hosts were top notch. We highly recommend this lovely place.

Small but charming rustic cottage, with a really homely feel and all the basics for self-catering. Great location in small village, within sight of the sea, and local pub with good food and great service. Friendly and helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

Rosie and Mike were an absolute delight! They shared so much history and entertaining stories and made us feel so very welcome. There were an amazing amount of things to do so close to the beautifully restored cottage. We would definitely stay there again!!!!
