The space

Last minute bookings welcome!
Seacroft Ocean View Cottage is situated at the back of a former monastery that was active from the early 1940s until 2011. The aspect is spectacular with views both East and West along the coast and out to the ocean. The cottage is set at the top of a large lawn providing ample space for children to run around. There is a large trampoline for children only. The whole property is set on a farm of 15 acres which is on the Great Ocean Road.

All linen and towels are supplied, please bring all other personal items.

There are 4 very effective heaters in this cottage, one in each main room, as well as a Tastic heat light in the bathroom.

In addition to this there is also a wood combustion heater that can be used ONLY by prior arrangement and if you are experienced with one and have managed one before. We can supply small sticks for you to help light it (upon request only) but you will need to bring your own wood which can be sourced at any of the local service stations or supermarkets.

A grew up on a rural property and I was overjoyed that my kids got to experience living in some open space for a change. They loved being able to roam around the expanses and get up the kind of trouble that kids love - jumping on the trampoline, playing in the sandpit, kicking balls around, etc. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything you could want!

This place was really great! If you want to unplug, this is your place! No internet or TV, but the ocean views and walks were so much better! We really did have an ocean view out of every window. Sam was a great host and we found an easy trail to the beach once walking down the road for a short way. We would recommend this place and would love to come back!

Very rustic cottage full of character with old furniture. Lovely spot, so peaceful with lovely views of the hills and the bay. Would be good for kids as has a swing and trampoline. Although cottage a bit dusty the bedding and towels for all clean. Sam left easy instructions for arrival. Five minute walk across to the beach and only fifteen minutes drive from Apollo Bay or ten minutes to the koala walk at Kennett River. If you like staying somewhere more interesting than a motel I recommend! Books and board games are a nice touch! Beds super comfy. Really good value for money.
