A lovely, clean apartment in a beautiful Boston suburb. There is a supermarket, restaurant and pharmacy close by with a short walk to the subway station. The bathroom, kitchen and dining area are small and as such, our party of 6 adults felt it would be better suited for a smaller group.

Response from Jean-Ellen:
Dear Julie, Yes, this has been a problem. We have had 3 incidents in a row in December when the key codes were not changed, or guests lost keys. Because of this issue, we are switching to an electronic lock system. We have had many groups stay in the apartment and have been happy with the accommodations. If we open up another bigger apartment to rentals, we can let you know. Thank you for your feedback we hope you can stay with us again.

Small, converted third-floor apartment. Two regular queen beds and two fold outs. Otherwise, a fairly cramped apartment. Wouldn’t recommend more than four adults stay here at once. When checking in I was very confused by the process of finding the apartment but that turned out to be my own fault as I didn’t read the instructions carefully enough. The place is walking distance to Fenway or a $10 cab ride. Enjoyed it. Thanks

Jeanie was a great host! The place was in a great location with CVS and 7Eleven steps away. Too bad we didn't get a chance to enjoy "the Pond" that was so close. Beautiful tree lined walking/bike paths right next to the pond/lake. The neighborhood was neat, so much fun to see the houses around there. Jeanie thought of almost everything, even a lint roller! I was able to do a couple small loads of laundry. What a great amenity. Jeanie was kind and thoughtful and willing to work with us to leave our luggage in the garage before check-in. While she asked if we could check in later to accommodate the prior guest who's daughter had just had surgery and needed more time to rest, we had no problem with that as our plans had allowed for a later check-in. And knowing she was willing to ask to help someone in need but still accommodating to what we needed, was wonderful to see. We would definitely stay there again. Make sure you're willing to climb some stairs to get to your cute little apartment. Thanks Jeanie!

We enjoyed our stay at Jean-Ellen's apartment. It's located on a quiet street convenient to restaurants, grocery, & public transportation. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the place. We did not, however, get off to a great start. After a long day of travel we had problems checking in. The lock box housing the key did not work. We eventually were able to make our way in by trying a number of unlabeled keys hanging in the garage. Once in, the place was very hot, 90 degrees, because the A/C units were not turned on in anticipation of our arrival. I wouldn't expect it to be cold, but something more temperate & not so uncomfortable would be better. Once past these two things on our first day, we were very comfortable & the rest of our stay went smoothly. If the check in procedure is changed/improved I would recommend her place as we found it a great value.

This is an awesome 3rd floor walk-up 2 bedroom apartment in Jamaica Plain. The unit is compact and functional - we had 4 adults and I'm not sure I'd do more people than 4. The kitchen and bathroom are tiny but functional - and the living space for games or tv or just relaxing is great. The bedrooms were great and we really appreciated the air conditioning on a super hot week in late August. There were several awesome restaurants within walking distance. The communication with Jean-Ellen was amazing and she was very responsive to every question and detail. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place.
