B&B guest rooms rarely offer 2 single beds (pushed together or easily separated a few inches) ... an ideal arrangement for certain travelers. This upstairs guestroom has A/C, WiFi, a DVD player and DVDs, TV, fridge, electric fireplace & a bay view as seen over a large patch of wild roses below. An en-suite sink is convenient but the room's 3-piece private bath is detached and down the stairs (robes are provided). This room is the quietest of the guest rooms (facing the back yard).

The space

North Park West B&B has been offering delightful lodging for 25 years; during 2017

North Park West is a fun place to stay. We are neither religious or narrow-minded. We do not say grace at breakfast. All people are are welcomed here.

Guest access

Your guest room has a key. When you arrive park in front and enter under the white arbor. You will see the entry to the B&B on your right, behind the weeping tree. It has a leaded glass door. It will be unlocked for you. Please arrive between 4 and 6. Other hours are not convenient for your host and a $15 per hour extra charge will apply.

Interaction with guests

I live next to the main house in the small white building. I will see you at breakfast, and our paths may cross on occasion but please relax and enjoy the common areas. Any area marked Private or No Entry is not included.

Other things to note

Local wine will be in your guestroom when you arrive. If you have medical food restrictions please inform me in advance of your visit or I may not accommodate your preferences. I cannot accommodate fad diets however.

My kitty, Tiger, is an outdoor cat but she does sneak in and I cannot seem to keep her out entirely so if you are allergic to cats please do not book here. Also be aware that our region is agricultural and farm trucks do go by the house. Please be tolerant!

I hope you love eclectic things because I'm a treasure hunter ... my 4 homes are filled with oddities - matched sets don't excite me. If you like unique places and real art my homes are definitely for you. My newest home is a half century old (Fido's Retreat - it's pet friendly); the Bird's Nest is 140 years old.

I teach and collect art, officiate weddings as a non-denominational wedding minister, and love B&B hosting - I've been in the hosting business 25 years (time flies when you're having fun). I offer a genuine B&B experience which includes a pretty breakfast table setting and more than just a bagel and coffee or granola bar - breakfast is the most important meal of the day here!
