A great year round comfortable one bedroom (large) house with new furniture and beds and a cozy wood stove. Large yard and horse pasture. It is perfect for anyone wanting to explore the Sierra's. Sleeps 6, 2 queen beds and 1 queen rollout sofa.
This rental is a real bargain with a very large kitchen that is always the social and gathering spot! It also has a very large yard for recreational equipment. The best part is that it is in the Owens Valley, which is surrounded by the mountains that are accessible within 20 minutes!
Guest will have full access to the yard and house. In the summer, it is a great place to host and barbeque.
Interaction with guests
I am still learning to be a host, but I will accommodate you as much as possible! Looking forward to meeting people from around the world. Welcome to Paiute Country!
Other things to note
Just remember, the Owens Valley and the surrounding land and mountains are Paiute country! You are welcome, but help us take care of the land for our children to experience and enjoy.
This is a non-smoking house!! You are welcome to smoke outside as long as you safely clean up after yourself. Social cooking and beverages are fine! Just enjoy in a respectful and caring way. Upon Departing:
1. Bedroom and bathroom: Put all used lien (towels, sheets, pillow cases in the blue plastic container by the wood stove). 2. kitchen: Clean all counter tops, table, and stove of food particles to keep pests out of the house, like ants! Put all plastic, bottles, and aluminum cans in the grey plastic recycle container on the back porch. All kitchen waste should deposited in the black waste contain out the back door to the left. Absolutely no cigarette ashes should be disposed of in the kitchen trash. All used dishes should be washed. 3. Wood stove: The wood stove should not be used unless the host demonstrates the proper use of the stove!
I live and was born and raised in Bishop, CA on the Paiute Reservation. I can't live without greeting my beloved sun while looking at the White Mountains to the east and watching the sun set behind the Sierra Mountains in the west everyday! What can I say, I am a lover of organic food and exploring my home lands. There is no better time to do something than now!
