NEW!! Wildberry Farm is a secluded unique world of its own. This masterfully restored 1890s farmhouse (just completed!) sits at the dead-end of a mile-long dirt road on a spring-fed swimming pond and flourishing vegetable/garlic gardens, nestled in the meadows, forests and hills of 34 acres. Perfect for a small family with kids, or a two family share, it's teeming with wildlife, space, fresh air, the cleanest well water you'll ever taste, and of course wildberries. Only 2 hours from GW Bridge.

The space
Swim in the pond, float on a canoe, play a game of badminton/frisbee on the huge lawn, choose your afternoon nap spot under an oak tree, or wander the property for hours through sprawling meadows of blueberry bushes on up to the top of the ridge for gorgeous views.

The farmhouse features 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a stone fireplace, a reading/yoga/meditation loft with a day bed and floor pillows perfect for kid's play space/movie time. The main living area is one big open space, integrating living room reading nooks, fireside rockers, a 10-seat country dining table and kitchen into one glorious area. We love to cook and have made sure to provide everything you'll need to make cooking and baking here a true pleasure. The centerpiece is our restored 1950s Chambers stove - as good or better than most professional stoves and really fun to cook on!

Every detail is infused with care and love, the epitome of "recycled" meets eclectic country modern. From the vaulted salvaged wood ceiling, to the kitchen cabinets made of old doors, to the 170 yr old pine flooring, to the old barn red tin ceiling in the living room, it's all material we re-purposed locally, either reclaimed from around the property or from nearby millworkers.

Three outdoor spaces provide many options for spreading out and relaxing: the front porch is the perfect place to sit on rockers with morning coffee, the back patio off the kitchen has a Weber grill for evening BBQs, and the deck off of the living room catches late afternoon glow and sunsets.

Other Helpful Details:
-HughesNet satellite WiFi, video streaming and Zoom works well. Satellite just has a very small delay.
-Badminton, board games, cards
-Washer/Dryer
-We are a rural and remote farm, so wifi calling is the most reliable

Where you’ll be

Long Eddy, New York, United States

There are outdoor adventures galore. Tubing/rafting/kayaking on the Delaware River. Trout fly fishing in the endless number of streams. Hiking in the Catskill Mountains. Crystal Lake hike and swim. Even just driving back country roads and discovering many cute little towns throughout Sullivan and Delaware Counties.

Our closest towns are Callicoon to the south and Roscoe to the north. Historic Callicoon on the Delaware oozes charm. More "country western" than "east coast", it was named one of "The 25 Best Small Town Main Streets in America" and "one of Sullivan Catskills' finest undiscovered gems" by Country Living Magazine in 2019. Among its charms are the Western Supper Club in the historic Inn, the Brewery, Distillery, Wine Bar, Coffee shop/bakery, Italian-Pizza restaurant, vintage and antique shops and Sullivan County's largest year-round farmers market on Sundays.

Roscoe is "Trout Town USA", home to five of America’s top trout streams, attracting fly-fishermen from around the world. We can put you directly in touch with one of the best guides in town! It has a golf course, it's own Roscoe Beer Brewing Co., Prohibition Distillery, and one of the best homemade pasta restaurants we've ever been to, Northern Farmhouse Pasta, by chef Pasta Bob from Queens.

40 mins to Bethel Performing Arts Center (where the actual Woodstock happened! Check out the museum!), 20 mins from French Woods Arts Camp/Festival.

During your stay

This is a new property and we are offering a discount as we get started. We are Superhosts from our previous listing and I'd be happy to send that with reviews. Also please see my personal reviews as a guest.

The blue "Goat Barn" down the hill from the farmhouse is where my partner and I stay. It's a far distance from the farmhouse and its living area faces the opposite direction so you have total privacy. We really respect and value your privacy. The pond is shared but big enough to be on your own.
