This is our family's rest house in tagaytay. It may not have a view of the famous taal volcano but It's quiet, exclusive and private location sets the tone for good times and lasting memories. The cozy and cool weather guarantees oversleeping!
Our family and friends often spend long weekends here just to relax, catch up and recover while enjoying the cool and pollution free mountain breeze.
A billiard table and a ping pong table for competitive spirits. A separate patio with a barbecue grill that creates the authentic backyard hangout feel. A zen inspiring attic to temper the innermost soul. A carp pond complemented by a tiny waterfall with a small bridge - a setting worthy of a most private but charmingly simple wedding proposal.
The village is an upscale gated community that values privacy and security. Peace of mind, relaxation, recovery and recharge are descriptors that fit well with the vibe of this neighborhood. It has a country club with recreational and sports facilities, an 9-hole golf course, swimming pool and a restaurant that serves local and international dishes.
As exclusive members and residents of Royal Tagaytay, can extend clubhouse privileges upon request. Do let me know upon booking so we can make special arrangements for you and your party.
Interaction with guests
I usually am there during the initial meetup with the guests, for the welcoming ceremonies of course. But that depends nowadays as I've become increasingly busy.
We have stay-in caretakers who can and will assist you upon your arrival. They've been under our employ since I was a kid and they're a charming and quirky old couple with a story or two to tell.
Other things to note
The clubhouse AFAIK isn't open to walk-ins or non members. The closest resto is a pizzeria right before you enter the gated village. It's by Alfosno Hotel. Core supplies like soap, drinking water, shampoo, eggs and alcohol are less than a minute away from the village entrance.
Please don't throw tissue paper in the toilets. Smoking is ok as long as you keep your cigarette butts in the proper ash trays or trash cans. Music is absolutely OK as long as it isn't played loud enough to disturb thy neighbors. Please treat our caretakers with respect, as you would your favorite lovable uncle and aunt. Hmmm, the billiard table is accessible but when it gets pretty late in the day, the caretaker's sleeping quarters are about 7 steps away from the pool table. So, no late night pool parties please. Don't bring airsoft guns! More importantly, if you happen to do so, don't shoot at the birds! The village is an official bird sanctuary! I swear! :)
