Large private room with a king size bed and a sofa bed on the top floor of my house just off the Holywood Road in East Belfast.
The East Belfast Visitors Centre is a few minutes walk away at CS Lewis Square for travel advice and the city centre is just 10 mins away via bus.
The cafes /restaurants of Ballyhackamore and the Belmont Rd are within walking distance
Guests are welcome to come and go as they please and are welcome to relax in the lounge and make use of the kitchen
There is a king size bed in the room as well as a double sofa bed and a pull out single bed (perfect for younger kids but suitable for adults as well).
I also have a travel cot if you have young children
The top floor you have all to yourself and you are welcome to relax in the lounge downstairs or make as much use of the kitchen as you like.
At the weekend arrival / departure times are entirely flexible. On a weekday sometimes an earlier daytime arrival is possible but not always depending on my work schedule.
Interaction with guests
I'm happy to suggest local places worth checking out or good for a bite to eat.
I love meeting new people so if I'm free I'll happily show you around a bit and can include you in meal plans if you like.
Or you can do your own thing.
Other things to note
There will always be the basics for a continental breakfast but if you're lucky I might have made something tasty when you come to stay.
The kitchen is well equipped and I have a decent pantry cupboard if something fresh tempts you in St Georges Market and need some staple ingredients to make a meal.
I have some extra towels if you need and there are basics in the bathroom that you are welcome to use.
If you need to use the washing machine during your stay that is also fine.
Simple - treat my house like you would expect others to treat your own
Smoking is fine in the enclosed back yard. Other than that I am pretty easy going.
In the evenings after work I spend plenty of time in the kitchen. Always have the radio on with music in the background. I enjoy movies, art galleries and in the warmer months like going for a walk. Huge fan of the Ulster rugby team and regularly get to games both in Belfast and abroad.
