We really enjoyed our time at Sandrine's cave house. It is close to the village and all the major chateaux. Sandrine is a very personable house and explained to us the source of some of the more interesting furnishings in the house. As a cave the house can get a bit musty and dusty but that is all part of the experience. It would be good if the house also had a washing machine. All in all we recommend a visit.

This accommodation is excellent if you are looking for a unique stay in the very heart of Chateau country. The cave was clean, warm and beautifully appointed and the town had all the basic services one could within a short walk. I couldn't recommend more!

We had a fantastic time in Mont Richard with the help of our cave experience. It has all the character and credibility you would expect when staying in such surroundings - plus a cosy fire to greet us upon arrival. The pictures in AirBnb were of the cave next door - nonetheless we enjoyed our experience and unique style of accommodation! Thanks to Sandrine for having us and being at our disposal for any questions :-)

For a fun experience this is a great place to stay. Sleeping in a cave! Shops and a good choice of restaurants are a short walk away. We also used the pizza takeaway which was excellent. Space is at a premium in such a small home and there seemed to be a lot of unnecessary bits of furniture getting in the way. The shower is excellent but be aware you have to climb up into it. If you are 4 people it would be a squeeze and also be aware that the bedroom area doors won't close as the bed is in the way. These aren't complaints as we enjoyed our stay, but we are glad it was just the 2 of us this holiday.

If you are looking for a place close to the Loire castles with an original style, that's the place ! The troglodyte house ( like a cave ) has been decorated with antique furniture, it is very charming and we loved it. The city of Montrichard is also a nice place to visit.

This is a really fun, comfortable place to stay. The family and I loved the creative use of the space and coming home after a long, hot day at the beach and cooling off in THE CAVE! It's also very near the center of the city (Montrichard) which has great restaurants and shops and events that are all within walking distance. We highly recommend the space.

Sandrine's house was very different. Worked for a one night stay for us. Wish wifi worked, but I know Sandrine is having it fixed.
