We stayed at Monica's place for almost a month. She was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. Upon arrival, she greeted us and made us feel welcome even though it was 1am. She supplied the house with snacks, beverages and everything we needed for a temporary basis. We brought our two medium sized dogs with us and had no issues with Monica. I would say the only negative, (which we already discussed) is the fact that the AC, which is in the living room, doesn't vent very well into the bedroom. The living room and kitchen area has plenty of space and AC circulation was nice and cold. Our experience was definitely a great one and I recommend others to rent here.

Both Monica and Johnny were very friendly and helpful. Loved having a washer and dryer there, didn't have to go out to do laundry. If we lacked anything Monica would get it for us. Monica also had stocked the refrigerator for us and fresh flowers. Loved staying there. We would go back again.

Monica is very welcoming and wants you to enjoy your stay. The location is close to shoppping and to the freeway system. The neighborhood is quiet most of the time except for some barking dogs once in a while. There is no view of the mountain unless you are standing at the end of the driveway, but the patio is comfortable and a great place to enjoy your evening meal. The kitchen is limited with a 2 burner glasstop stove, so no oven. Glad I brought some of my own cooking pans. Monica now has a grill. The furniture needs updating, the pictures are deceiving. Because we stayed for 2 months it was great to have a washer and dryer. The rooms are a comforable size and the bed was great. Some extra ventilation would have been helpful. Parking is a big plus. We had a great time and Monica will try and make your stay a memorable one.

Response from Leila:
There were indeed pots and pans in the kitchen for guests which are very new. Your private comments mention ventilation in bathroom- there IS a window in the bathroom. Your private comments also mention how wonderful it was to have parking and a washer and dryer- this should have been included in the public review as these are specifically bonuses for long term stays in addition to some fruit and snacks that were provided for you upon arrival. You also mention broom and dustpan- there was a brand new broom and dust pan for the studio. I don't think its fair to mention neighbors dogs in a review- this was never an issue before and out of my control. The furniture is navajo/southwest style as you can see in photos, this goes with the dessert setting, sorry this was not your taste.

Great experience! We stayed in Monica's guest casita with our two young daughters while in town for a family wedding. Monica was so accommodating with both our last-minute reservation and our stay. The house had plenty of space for us all, and our two-year-old really loved the desert plants outside. Everything was taken care of, from linens to shampoo to coffee and snacks. Thanks for hosting, Monica!!

Our wonderful hosts were Monica and Layla, and they were so attentive and helpful. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived on their property. It honestly was so much more than we were expecting. The kitchen was stocked nicely with snacks and beverages, what a lovely surprise! We were in the area for a family wedding and so we ended up having some extra family members stay over, but there was plenty of room for everybody. Overall, our family was so comfortable and happy with our experience. This was obviously not a luxurious hotel, but the attention-to-detail more than made up for it. Thank you Monica and Layla! We will definitely be coming back.

This house was very private and quiet. I really felt at ease and enjoyed my stay. There were many nice amenities and features. It was easy to find, close enough to be convenient, yet just far enough away from the city center to see tons of stars. The host was very kind, responsive and provided a lot of information about the area.
