Totally recommended. I was at Preet's house for three months and I cannot say anything bad about my experience. The accomodation is close to the university and hospital (10-15 minutes walk). It's a really nice and quiet neigbohood, with lovely gardens and parks nearby. The house is very quiet and all the guests very respectful with each other. Preet is a very nice woman, just like her partner Lorenz. They are always willing to talk, ask about your day and make sure everything is OK. She is also interested in other cultures and she loves learning new recipes [you should try her apple compote, I taught her my recipe and now hers it better than mine! ;) ] Even being 8.000km away from my hometown I felt at home. If I had to go again to Edmonton I would repeat without a doubt.

That was my first time using Airbnb. Before I was always booking hotels. I was surprised the easy way how Airbnb works and was very satisfied with this online service. First thing intuitive interface, pictures actually match the reality. I never going back to hotels unless I have to. I liked staying at host's place better because it is cheaper and still feels like home. Preet's place is very nice, clean, unique design inside, wonderful backyard with flowers and very welcoming environment. It was nice to chat with her, easy going and kind. The room had separate thermostat which was helpful, and I was actually surprised by the size of it. It is absolutely ok size because usually houses don't have larger rooms except master ones. In hotels you can have weird people traffic, bar scenes (especially in cheap ones), and you are free of that drama at host's place. I enjoyed my good sleeps which was important. Other bonuses include fully equipped kitchen and laundry. I didn't used laundry but you never know when you need it. Definitely I will consider staying again at Preet's place.

I stayed for a month while on an elective at UAH and was thankful that the stay was as advertised. I did book fairly last minute but Preet is very organized and we were able to arrange a check-in that ran smoothly. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The other guests were also quiet and respectful, and we did get a chance to chat particularly in the evening as we prepared our meals. I also had a few nice conversations with Preet! I drove to Edmonton and was happy that I had a parking space in the driveway given the time limitations on street parking near the university. It was a convenient location as I could get to UAH within 15min. I also took advantage of the nearby river trail - I only wish I'd brought a bike with me too!

She really helped me to adjust this city. Preet's house is near the LRT station, so it is very easy to go other place. I was so happy and comfortable to live in her house!
