Great place to stay, lovely family friendly neighbourhood. Very close to the market, supermarket and Saqsa gym. Susan is always very quick to reply and Lida (who manages the property in Cusco) is fantastically helpful. For those that speak no spanish communication with Lida ma…

A large apartment with everything in it including good cookware. Susan was a great communicator and always available for queries by electronic means. The area is very suburban with a lot of street dogs barking at night (but this is a Cusco-wide issue, so bring your ear plugs …

I had a wonderful stay in Susan's apartment in Cusco. Apartment is very close to the airport (5 minutes). Taxis in Cusco don't cost much. From Susan's apartment to the center of the city (Plaza de Armas) would cost about 2-3 USD. Apartment was very clean, sunny and has nice mount…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cusco, great city and apartment. The apartment is in a quiet area approximately 45 mins walk from town. Comfy beds, very clean, hot shower and with added bonus of a washing machine.

Response from Susan:
Yes, just a ten minute and $2 dollar taxi to the Plaza de Armas when traffic is good- or if walking directly at a good pace- about 25 minutes. Of course there are many things to stop and see during a walk- I also like to meander my way. Thanks for coming!

We found Susan to be a great host. She was always available to answer questions and found her place to be very clean and quite big.

Response from Susan:
Jackie and his party checked out immediately and went to a hotel. They did not stay with us. They were more suited to a hotel and package tours than an authentic airbnb experience and were not experienced travelers.

Response from Susan:
We're glad you took advantage of the nearby Ttio municipal market! It really is amazing- the variety of fruit brought up from the Amazon, the variety of homemade cheeses, all kinds of flours and grains that I never heard about before. Also many many kinds of fresh meat, olives, fresh vegetables and freshcut flowers. When we are in Cusco we shop there every day. And when we don't feel like cooking we go to one of the food stands on the second floor of the market.

This place is a short ride away from central Cusco. The taxi will cost you about 2 dollars and takes 5 min at the most. In return, you will enjoy local, cheap restaurants, a quiet neighborhood and a big apartment with everything you need. To get to central Cusco you just hop in a…

Thanks so much for coming. Yes, we chose not to install a TV in our family home as we feel it disrupts the peaceful aesthetic. You may remember that neither our listing nor our pictures mention that there is any TV there. Maybe someday we will put one there for rainy days... but in general our family watches shows on our computers, reads books, or plays board games or card games :-) Come back soon!
