Also the second floor of that market is full of popular food stalls open from morning until night. There are a couple bakeries within walking distance which sell the typical kinds of bread. Thee are also numerous Bodegas (corner stores) where you can pick up milk, bottled water, beer, Pisco, toilet paper, and other essentials. If you walk 10 minutes, you arrive at a supermarket where you can buy groceries with your credit card. Another 5 minutes and you arrive at another large market which sells clothes and electronics- but which also is a place to change money- it is called El Molino. Within walking distance there are a variety of un-fancy restaurants ranging from chicken and fries (Pollo a la brasa), Ceviche, Chifa (Chinese-like food), pizza, and Peruvian food. In the other direction you can take a 4 sol taxi to the shopping mall- it is called Plaza Real. A taxi to the Plaza de Armas costs 3 soles in the day and 4 soles at night. Also you can walk to the Plaza de Armas- about 25 minutes flat walk.

Susan has a lovely apartment. It's very well set up, clean and inviting. The neighbourhood is interesting, near the airport and with a market and stores near by. We loved our stay there!

Absolute pleasure to stay here. The apartment was in a safe area of Cusco but walk able to the centre. I would have happily extended my stay- everything was clean and perfect. I would 100% recommend and hope to return myself.

Susan's apartment was perfect for my 5 person family! We got to experience a truly local stay at a very residential area for a great value! The apartment was clean, furnished, and comfortable. Except for the freezing temperatures at night (which is not something the owner could do anything about), our stay was perfect. I would highly recommend Susan's apartment for your stay in Cusco.

Susan's place was very comfortable for our week in Cusco. It was very cheap to take a taxi into the center of town (S/.5). We loved having coffee on the balcony in the morning, enjoying the beautiful mountain landscape of Cusco. Our host was very kind and responsive. Great place with lots of light and space!

Susan's place was great! A little removed from all the activity in the center of Cusco so we could relax easily, and it was close to lots of little marts. The washing machine was key -- especially if you'll be staying a while. We just Ubered around from this place and it worked out great.

We are a Peruvian-American family. We love Peru, and although we now live abroad, we have our second home in Cusco. We hope you will enjoy your stay in our newly- built unit in this traditional Cusco neighborhood. Our family has been in Cusco for generations and many of us can speak Quechua. We also have a family tradition of folkloric dance. The apartment building is built adjacent to the traditional adobe house of Percy's parents. We know our neighbors, and even some of us married a son or daughter of a neighbor. Aunt Lida lives in the building, and she will be your host while you are staying with us.
