Fully equipped, newly renovated and charming apartment in the trendy, central Jewish Quarter. Cafes, good restaurants, public transport (SUBWAY LINE U1 is just down the street) and most of Vienna's top attractions are within easy walking distance.

This is a cozy shelter for travelers who want to be in the middle of the city, yet have a quiet space to relax. It has a private entrance, a newly renovated kitchen and all the amenities needed for a city getaway.

The space
This is a cozy shelter for travelers who want to be in the middle of the city, yet have a quiet space to relax. It has a private entrance and is located in the trendy yet traditional Viennese Jewish Quarter.

The apartment is very comfortable and roomy. It has a 27m2 room with a queen sized bed that comfortably fits two, a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, BROADBAND WIFI Internet, cable TV, and a washing machine. It has a cozy chair to kick back and read or watch TV. It also has a spacious entrance and a bathroom with a fancy and super clean bathtub and a roomy closet for storage space.

You can either cook a fine dinner in the well equipped kitchen, or you can cross the street and dine at one of the many trendy and creative restaurants around. The location of the apartment is extraordinary and nearly all sights can be reached on foot. It is 2 minutes away from the U1 Subway station Nestroyplatz, 2 stations from Stephansplatz, 1 station from the Giant Ferris Wheel, 10 minutes walk from the very center of Vienna, and a short 5 minutes to the Karmeliterviertel - an in-vogue piazza where Viennese meet to either chat and relax in one of its many bars and restaurants or to buy fresh vegetables on Saturday mornings in the popular Farmer's Market.

There is a hair dryer, a new washing machine, a Nespresso Coffee machine, microwave, fresh towels, enough storage place and a cozy atmosphere.

Small comforts that make a difference are also in the apartment: comfy house shoes, feather pillows and blankets, great quality mattresses, a wool quilt, good teas, etc. We also try to keep a few fresh herbs for those who like to cook. And for eating out, the location offers plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area near Karmelitermarkt and Nestroyplatz.

It is a private apartment. We live 10 minutes away in case you should need anything during your stay with us.

The apartment is in a lovely part of Vienna in the Jewish Quarter of the city. It has a pleasant combination of a traditional feel (with old shops, synagogues, and old traditional houses) with the up-and-coming vibe of a trendy neighborhood filled with picturesque cafes and chic restaurants of all kinds.

The location is perfect to explore Vienna. It is within walking distance to the main tourist sites like Stephansplatz, the Giant Ferris Wheel in Praterstern, the beautiful Augarten Park and the many museums and sites in the city center. Just stroll across the famous "Donaukanal – Danube canal" with its beautiful parklike surrounding and its lively atmosphere, and, for a once-in-a-lifetime splurge, the apartment is 4 minutes away from the luxurious Sofitel roof-top restaurant where you can enjoy gourmet food while watching the whole city from above (you can also just go for a drink).

Public transport is unbeatable from this apartment! The main subway line - U1 Station Nestroyplatz is a 2 minute walk away, U4 Schwedenplatz is 8 minutes away and U2 Praterstern is 9 minutes away. And, the main tramway line #1 that goes around the main tourist sites in the city center (around the famous "Ringstrasse") is a short 5 minute walk away.

If you are interested, I can give you a few tips of cool cafes, restaurants and bars to explore in Vienna. Just ask!

I am originally from Latin America, but have lived in Vienna since 2010. I love traveling, especially in India and Myanmar, where I fell in love with yoga and meditation practices. I studied Literature and love poetry, fiction and song lyrics from different cultures and epochs. I have a job at the United Nations in Vienna and during my free time, I try to explore beautiful cities and countrysides, spend time with my daughter and, as of lately, host Airbnb travelers.
