You'll have a lovely time at this beautiful stable conversion, lovingly decorated with quality fabrics and furnishings. Foodies will love the great gastro pubs within walking distance in the village and you are close to the South Downs National Park, Chichester Harbour AONB and attractions such as West Dean Gardens, Weald & Downland Living Museum and the world famous Goodwood Estate with it's horse and motor racing events. There's a pretty and private garden for drinks and alfresco dining.

The space

There is a second bathroom with shower over bath. Where you’ll be

Chichester, West Sussex, United Kingdom

Lavant is a pretty village, just outside Chichester on the way to Midhurst. It has beautiful views of the South Downs, and there are many walks direct from the cottage. The Centurion Way is a walking and cycle path from Lavant all the way into Chichester. You can also easily get to the foot of the Downs for a long hike up to the Trundle or to West Dean along the River Lavant. There are some lovely gastro pubs within walking distance of the cottage, but it isn't far into Chichester for shopping and lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. West Dean Gardens and The Weald & Downland Museum are just a short drive away. It really is a lovely base from which to explore the beautiful downlands.

There is a large Co-op a short drive away, and Chichester has all of the large supermarket chains.
A great place to pick up some local and organic meat and other local produce is the Goodwood Farm Shop, a short drive away from the cottage.

There are a couple of local gastro pubs located within walking distance of the cottage. The Earl of March is across the road and The Royal Oak is a few minutes walk away.
