Great place to stay

We had a great stay at Clarkia cottage. The house is very comfortable, fully equipped to make you feel like you're home. The terrace is really nice and the small pool offers a nice way to refresh yourself. The cottage is ideally situated to visit all site seeing at Cape Town, but the main road in front of the cottage is noisy especially early in the morning during the week. We had a nice relationship with Susanne even if we didn't see each other and Godfrey, manager of the cottage, was really dedicated to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you very much to both of Them.

Response from Susanne:
Dear Arnaud Thank you for your honest feedback. It was great having you in our cottage. Yes, the busy road is a constant headache for me. This time of the year it is at it's worst, because Cape Town is full to capacity and then Klipper Road becomes busy (although it is not a main road). Capetonians, on their way to work, use Klipper Road more often this time of the year due to congestion everywhere else :). On the positive side: our guests are immediately onto the highway off Klipper and do not sit in traffic to their destination weather that is the centre of town or Muizenberg on the other side. We have done a few things to reduce the traffic noise from the road - the water feature, the fence, the big trees on the wide pavement, the wooden outside shutters, but realise that we might have to think up something else. Any suggestions?
