Essentially a tiny boutique hotel, with half a dozen excellent double ensuite rooms ojtisethe owner's own apartment D ante's Hell is a great place to stay if you want to explore Rome on foot (Mea tours start their afternoon walking tour 1min away at The Pantheon).

Great location. Easy check-in. Clean. Nice AC. Wi-Fi not great in the room but not a big deal.

Flavia is welcoming and helpful. She is an excellent hostess and this is not her only job! The room is adequately sized, very clean, has a comfortable bed, air conditioning and great coffee (important for Seattle-ites!) The location is spectacular and that alone makes this a great choice. Everything in Rome is walk able from here. Best gelato is out the door and straight down to the right several blocks..Gelateria Theatro.

Dante's Hell is a nice, small room. No use of any other part of the house. Very close to the Pantheon. Expensive, perhaps due to proximity to the main tourist thoroughfare. Host was helpful on first day, then didn't see again. One needs to ask for any service to make sure things are taken care of as expected.

Response from Flavia:
Ciaoo!! Thanks for the review. I want answer to point out this detail. I'm still studying at college, my brother is in high school and mom is a pharmacist. Unfortunately we don't have an hotel, we can't talk to our guests in a hall every day. Unfortunately we have other commitments. This BnB fills us with joy, but obviously we can't stay 24 hours a day at our guests's arrangement.. for example during his days here I was studying for an exam. I would have preferred to be talking with you or going for rome like a tourist guide.. unfortunately my everyday life is not this. Please don't forget that it is a bnb and i'm not a receptionist, i have 24 years old and my mum works all day. For the next time and for all the guests that are reading that review: DON'T FORGET TO ASK US ALL THAT YOU NEED. ONLY SPEAKING WITH YOU WE CAN UNDERSTAND HOW TO HELP YOU. WE ARE NOT A HOTEL, DON'T FORGET!

Very nice house, close to city center but a little noisy downstairs in the night. Worth to recommend!

The location is perfect, just between Campo Fiori and Fontana di Trevi. The building is charming. The room was very clean and nice, with all the things you want to have a breakfast or a snack. The fresh water was very appeciated especially with the warm weather. One bad point : the check-in was a little bit worrying, because the woman who welcomed me was not aware of my arrival and seemed to be wary of my presence. The plus : you can leave your luggage for the day when you check out !
