Stefano is a great host. Apartment is quiet and located 200m from Pisa's main street. Very close to Piazza del Duomo. Two supermarkets and train/bus stations within 10 minutes walking distance.

Second floor apartment in narrow alley next to the Palazzo Blue, a few metres from the south bank of the river. Very old building sympathetically restored, a good size, especially the bathroom. A bit dark, with nothing you could call a view, but surprisingly quiet and very conveniently located - just about everything within walking distance. Steep steps to apartment might be a challenge to the elderly, but the owner is charming and very helpful.

We arrived after a delayed flight due to adverse weather conditions and Stefano was waiting patiently for us. The apartment was a 12 euro taxi ride from the airport and a perfect location for our weekend away. A 10-15 minute walk to the Leaning Tower and a 10 minute walk to the train station where you're an hour's ride from Florence. Everything inside the apartment was as described and as you see in the pictures. Stefano has local tourist maps and information to help you find your way round. Would recommend this accommodation and certainly consider returning.

The flat is very charming and conform to the description. The location of the flat is very good, halfway to the main station (to go to Lucca or Firenze) and the main attractions and facilities in Pisa. Stefano was proactive before the arrival and very helpful (way to find the flat, very good restaurant recommendations,...). The only drawback during our stay was the noisy neighbours upstairs.

Stefanos apartment is a great place to stay, we enjoyed it a lot. There is everything you need, from bath towels to games to kitchen essentials, and the place is clean and central. The latter is really important, because Pisa is lovely at night, and you can easily go for an evening walk, sit by the river or have a drink in one of the bars nearby (there's a lovely square just a few minutes from the apartment) without worrying about bus connections or the like. We also enjoyed cooking dinners there, and if you get tired walking through the city during the day you can just walk back to the apartment for a short siesta or a cold midday shower. It is really easy to live the day(s) spontaneously - as you should be able to when on a holiday! The communication also went really well. We were a bit difficult to reach at times because of phone troubles (for which we are sorry), but Stefanos friend Simone was really cooperative and we hope we didn't cause too much inconvenience. In any case, we really recommend staying there - grazie mille!

We had a fabulous time staying here, it was a short walk to the sights of Pisa (the leaning tower was of course a highlight) and also to the train station. We got the train to Florence for the day (only 25 euros for a family of 4, and 1 hour 30 travel time) which was great. The apartment was exactly as we expected from the photos and description and we had everything we needed. Simone met us to let us in and he was really helpful, telling us where to find the supermarket for groceries and explaining where everything was. We had breakfast in the apartment everyday and found some really lovely places to eat in the evening - trip advisor was really useful for this.

Stefano's Tower House was a really good base for our 3 night stay in Pisa, It's pretty much in the centre of town and the railway station is a 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of lovely places to eat nearby and a supermarket too. Highly recommended! We were even met at the airport by Simone a friend of Stefano's who took us to the house at reasonable cost.
