Nadine,s house is perfect for 10 people who want to explore the beautiful wine country around St emillon for a couple of days. You will need a car or bicycle to get around. All bathrooms are totally updated and the same goes for a well supplied kitchen. We loved the place and will use it again, when we come back to the area.

We have just got back from a 3-night stay at Nadine's house, which was beautiful. All rooms were a good size and with good spec bathrooms. The top floor rooms are more suited for children and would get very hot in the summer, but as we were kiddie free, this was not an issue for us. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, crockery, utensils - you name it, Nadine has it. All in all, it is a brilliant place to stay. The village of Branne is only 2 km away, so we had morning trips for fresh croissants. The little restaurant Le Cafe Cuisine was amazing - very stylish and relaxed with great food. In the other direction, 3 km away, is St Jean - there we had dinner at the Michelin star Auberge St Jean - I cannot describe how good the food was, or how accommodating the staff were. It was without fault and I would definitely recommend it. St Emilion is about 11 km away - we cycled there and back, taking a more scenic route on the way back through some vineyards. All very beautiful. The weekend was a great success - four very busy mums came back very relaxed!!

Nadine is a fantastic host - she is very communicative, helpful, friendly and met our group for check in and check out at our convenience with no problems. The house is fantastic with excellent communal areas in the living/dining room and outside courtyard that are spacious, perfect for having a big dinner made in the very well stocked kitchen or sipping wine in the sunshine, and overlooking the beautiful river. The bedrooms each have their own hi spec bathrooms, Nadine provides towels and shower gel, and everything is very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this for groups - we were a group of 7 on a cycling and wine holiday and we thought it was perfect. It is in a nice tiny little town, and is about 40 easy minutes cycle from St Emilion.

We had the best time staying at Nadine's. Great location - right on the river, 10 minute drive from Saint Emilion, surrounded by chateau's for wine tastings. We hired bikes from Saint Emilion and biked to and from most days (40 minutes each way). Nadine was a great host - she picked up some of our party from Saint Emilion on our day of arrival, we got a personal tour around Nadine and her hubby's Chateau Du Pavilon and she was able to book us in for lunch at a restaurant that wouldn't take our booking in English. Would definitely recommend!

Spacious beautiful home in a lovely - great for a couple of large families or a gathering of friends. You would need a car to fully enjoy the surrounding area and beyond. The bedrooms/bathrooms on the top floor do have lower ceilings. Great facilities and well equipped. Would stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful house in an idyllic setting. We hired a car and it took about 45 mins from Bordeaux airport, there's plenty of parking outside the house too. Wonderful Nadine was there to greet us and showed us everything we needed to know. The house is stocked with everything you should need amenity wise. The rooms are all superb and comfortable. You can drive 2 minutes into town where there is restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy, supermarket etc and plenty of vineyards nearby to explore. We will definitely be back, what a beautiful part of the world! You can sit on the terrace looking out at the river and feel like you're in a dream!
