I couldn't have hoped for a better Airbnb experience at Rita's place. The room itself is rather spacious, the bed comfortable and the ensuite bathroom has all you need. The location is very good, close enough to many shops/restaurants and to the DART station, whilst being in a very quiet, residential area. But what tops it all is Rita. She is the sweetest and most accommodating host you could ever hope for. She really cares for her house and she will go miles to make sure you have all you need during your stay. So thank you so much Rita, I will be back for sure!

Hello everyone! If you are looking for a nice and calm accomodation, then Ritas is great. She and her family is very nice and friendly. You also can use the kitchen if you like. The room was clean. I had bath towels, toilet paper, a blowdryer and Rita also gave me a towel for the sea, so everything you need is there. All in all, the stay was great! I will definitely come back!

I had a nice stay at the Croft on a short holiday while I was in Dublin on a business trip. The room is clean and very quiet. The location is convenient to stores and dining in Greystones, the sea, and the Bray to Greystones cliff walk. Most importantly, it's an easy walk to the DART station. Using a combination of bus/train/road walking, I was able to climb Djouce, Maulin, and Sugar Loaf. The climb up Sugar Loaf is highly recommended. From the door of the Croft, it's 5.5 miles to the peak. Check in was easy, and Rita was very welcoming. One caveat I'd mention is that if you are an especially tall person, the bathroom may be a bit of a challenge. I'm about average height and had no problem with it though. If I wind up staying south of Dublin again, I would definitely consider booking here.

I have really hit the jackpot during my stay in Ireland. Every airbnb host has been a dream and Rita is no different. What a very lovely lady. I got sent a very detailed message with how to get into the house which made the whole thing painless even though Rita wasn't in herself. The bedroom was very cosy with ensuite and great linens. Rita is genuine in her desire for you to treat her house as your own and so I didn't feel any qualms about making myself a cup of tea and sitting out in her beautiful garden. It's a 12 minute walk to The Happy Pear (I timed it) and I wasn't rushing. 18 mins to the Dart. The Happy Pear is fabulous. It's an 8 or so minute walk to the start of the Cliff Walk which I would also highly recommend and then I think it was 2.20 euros to get the Dart back to Greystones. Rita was the highlight though. We only chatted a couple of times but we had great conversations when we did and she did everything she could to make my stay comfortable, including digging out some headache tablets for me, loaning me a huge towel to lie down in the garden (she does have a sunbed out there, mind you, I just prefer grass) and inviting me to join her and her friends for a swim in the sea. Highly recommend staying here. Thanks, Rita xx

A wonderful welcome and a lovely home. Rita made us feel so welcome and really opened her home to us. My little boy loved the space in her (beautiful) garden and Rita made a big impression on him! It was really great to feel so welcome while traveling with a toddler. Rita's home us in a lovely, quiet residential area and the walk to the harbour and the centre of Greystones is a pleasure.

Nice house but the cleanliness is a bit meh. There was hair all over the floor of my room and the doors etc were covered in dust including the sink. The shower had hair in it and a large clump of red hair just sitting on the shower like it had been taken out of the drain and just placed there. Bed was comfortable and clean, towels were also clean and smelled nice. Rita is very nice and is a good place to stay for the price. The house is reasonable central but is a 20-25 minute walk from main street in Greystones which is quite a lot further that described.

Response from Rita:
In response to Nathan's review On location : Maps give Greystones Harbour as a 9 minute walk The Happy Pear ( in Center of Greystones )as 12 minute walk Train Station (far end of town)as 15 minute walk I myself had prepared the room as I always do , I know it was spotless when I I handed it over . I take great pride in sharing my home with guests and I am saddened by Nathan's inaccurate review.

A good option for travellers visiting Greystones. Located in a quiet neighbourhood with a great host. Rita is generous with her local knowledge and makes sure you feel at home. The description is a bit off, since the place is not in the centre, but in a suburb and further from the DART station than indicated (about 15 mins).
