Perfect location, around 20 minute walk in all directions to the main sights and the best gelato on the corner of the street! Apartment is on the 3rd floor of a busy back street but you could not hear a thing with the windows shut. Clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Ideal for a long weekend. Highly recommended

Nice small flat in an excellent location. The appartment is close to most attractions in Rome. Even though there is a pizzeria right next to the appartment it was absolutely quiet in the appartment. Communication with Stefano was also quick and friendly. The only downside for us was that there is now wifi in the appartment.

Stefano's place is fantastic, located in a great area in Rome with some great food choices close by. We were able to walk to everything. Stefano was great to communicate with even when I had difficulty communicating because of some phone problems. Would definitely recommend. Great value for money.

Great central location. Easy walking distance for many of the sights, good places to eat and lovely individual artisan shops. The apartment is very nicely decorated to a high standard.

The apartment is located in the old town, close to many attractions. Nearby there are public transport, shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Very good soundproofing, comfortable sanitary ware and kitchen. The room is unusual, everything is very clean and cozy. Stefano is very friendly and helpful, solved all issues.

The location is excellent, about 15-20 minutes walk from EVERYTHING in Rome. Also it was central to the best restaurant and gelato areas. Recommendations for people considering this apartment - 1) You need to be able to climb stairs, if that is an issue find a different spot. 2) Dont take long showers, European hot water tanks are not like the US so you will run out. 3) The bedroom ceiling drops down to 6ft, so watch your head. Otherwise its not an issue and a very cool historic ceiling. 4) Go to the Frididarium Gelato spot every day.

Stefano's place is absolutely great for one or two people traveling to Rome! It is truly in the perfect location. Even though it was absolutely quiet in the apartment, the street it is located on is actually very lively, with a pizzeria right below and an excellent gelato place on the corner (both of which often had a line!) The rest of the neighborhood also has great coffee shops and restaurants nearby. In terms of visiting Rome, the apartment is essentially equidistant from all major sights (including the Vatican City, the Colosseum/Roman Forum, Piazza Navona/Pantheon (very close), Campo di Fiori (very close), Capitoline museums), making it easy to walk to all of them. We really only used the metro/buses to go see the Catacombs in southern Rome. Everything else we walked to! Regarding the apartment itself, it's very simple and quite small, but perfectly adequate for coming home at night after a long day sightseeing. There is a kitchenette and utensils for cooking, but we honestly went to dinner every night to experience the Italian cuisine! I would say the only potential negatives is that the ceiling in the bedroom is quite low (which was a little bothersome for my 6 foot 3 inches boyfriend), but for anyone less tall it wouldn't be an issue. Also, there was no wifi, which might be difficult if you're traveling with no data. But actually almost every coffee shop has free wifi if you ask (Barnum cafe is less than a minute away), so we just used wifi about once a day and embraced disconnecting from our electronics! We never met Stefano, but he was great with communication. Thanks for a great apartment to call home while we were in Rome!! We can't wait to come back :)
