Thanks Mike for your kind words and your advice. Regarding lighting, we really love it rustic and that bulbs are quite nice (very expensive as well) even though they are not that bright. We will think about a way of getting around that issue. Maybe a new bright light stand lamp near the fire place will do it. Regards, Bruno & Ana

Bruno and Anna's place was cozy! Bruno was quick to response when the kids clogged up the toilet he even made a trip to fix the problem! The inside of the house has some nice up to date furniture and appliances! Kids accidentally broke a drinking glass and accidentally switch …

Hi Nona, First of all thank you for taking the time to express you comments. As we describe on our page, our place is able to have a maximum capacity of 4 adults and 2 kids. Your total number of people was 7 (5 young kids -- 2 surprises since you mention originally 3)!!! We try to accommodate everyone but definitely not like to have a kindergarten on our place for the obvious reasons. The closets are brand new, custom made professionally done! I believe that furniture is expected to have 90 degree angles. Not sure if in your world everything is round. Regarding the deck, the floor is actually nailed to the under joists so I never have seen any "screw" sticking out, maybe under the deck where you do not have access. But as I have 2 young child, I will now spend a few hours inspecting the full deck again hoping to find that 2 famous nails. Flimsy renovation? I prefer not to comment....pictures and all other guests tell all. Towels, that's what cottagers do, they hang them on the railings deck where there is lots of sun! Not sure where do you envision to dry beach towels. The recycle bins are on top of the deck for your convenience so they are close to the door and avoid you have to walk a distance every time you want to drop something. You should have move them around to a more convenient place for you like you did with other items that you shouldn't actually move. The vermin smell, in the hours that I was getting my place ready for the next guests I could not smell anything other than the usual cottage smell from the neighborhood. Regarding the lack of grass, yes we are a sandy place for now and our profile pictures show it! As you mentioned, I drove 2 hours up and 2 hours down to fix a clogged toilet even not being my fault, just kids being kids right? You forgot to mention that you guys broke a couple things on the front door. The curtain hanging on the inside part of the glass door as well as the knob, even the screws went missing! Go figure. We take great pride on our place, specially all our curtains. They are hand made from overseas (Read other guests comments and you will understand). I noticed that finally we have some scratches on the walls! It took over 40 different guests, including lots of families with kids, over 3 years to happen but finally did. Our place is still under renovation, yes! The outside will soon match the inside. As you might have not noticed, I am a Professional Engineer and a Health and safety Officer. Saying that, our place is almost bullet proof in terms of safety but some people just not obey rules period! Anyway, we take our guests comments very serious to improve our service but in fact after 2 years of fully summer rentals you guys are our first ones causing a few different kinds of damage in the property. Hope you guys find some better place for your future vacation. Best regards, Bruno & Ana

Thanks Mark. It is great to hear that you left with the feeling of coming back. You guys were great guests and we will try to do as good or better next time. We expect to improve the grounds for next summer season so you can enjoy a fire pit with or without rain!

Bruno and Ana's cottage was a charming little cottage in the quiet neighbourhood of Tiny. The cottage was small but very clean and Bruno had made sure to accommodate the 5th person (me) with a mattress and bed linen. We had a full kitchen, as well as a charcoal BBQ and a fire pit…

Response from Bruno & Ana:
Thanks Aine for your comments. In fact, there is a radio in the cabinet above the fridge. You should inquire about so we could guide you to it. Regarding charcoal, we always tell guests to bring their own. The reason why is that there are a few different types of charcoal and it would be difficult to please everybody's different "taste". We will think of a way to provide when requested.
