Alexa was an excellent host who responded quickly. The property was an older studio home in a bush-clad valley. The room and bathroom were immaculate and nicely refurbished in lovely restful colours with a comfy bed. Very cosy and warm even on a drizzly cold day. Slightly tricky access up slopng path but worth it. Heather

So peaceful and quiet and walking distance from town. The perfect place to just escape for a weekend.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend, a perfect escape from the city after a busy week of work. The studio was warm and toasty on arrival. A great location, secluded and quiet yet close to town. Basic amenities are well-suited for a short stay but there are plenty of places to eat in town. Alexa was very welcoming, provided us with some tips for things to do (the Saturday market was great to wander) and places to eat (highly recommend the Waiomu Beach Cafe - thanks for the tip)!

This was perfect for us - quiet, secluded yet close to town - which provides places to eat, good coffee and the Saturday market! Kitchen facilities are minimal so not good if you want to prepare your own food. Alexa, the host is very welcoming and helpful.

This is a lovely, peaceful haven with the most superb views. Surrounded by orchard and trees while in the distance a view of the ocean. You feel like you are in the country and yet it is a 5 minute (if that) walk to the main shopping street with lovely cafes, restaurants, charity and boutique shops. Perfect for a romantic weekend away for two and ideal if you have business or a course to do in Thames for the peace and quiet. The charming cottage has everything you could need in it and is a real home away from home. Alexa, the owner, is lovely and happy to help in any way if you need to ask a question or two. There are lots of holiday brochures in the studio to look through for ideas of things to do in the area should you need them. There is a lovely deck outside to sit out on where you can enjoy the views and tranquility. The birdsong is just beautiful and we loved being able to see the moon and stars through the high window. Thank you so much, we loved our stay there and look forward to more magical moments in the Studio.
