This is a spacious, safe and centrally located apartment. I loved all the cupboard space, comfortable bed and the well-stocked kitchen. There are lots of restaurants nearby (mainly pizzerias) and a supermarket down the street. A short walk to the train station, even when carrying luggage. Emma went out of her way to find me and welcome me into the apartment, which was really appreciated.
Great appartment at a great location. We had to sent a text to the host before we got into the train and she (Emma) was already waiting outside when we got there. The appartment was very good and at a great location. Within 15 minutes you are in the centre of Rome. I would definetely recommend it!
This apartment was great for our 5 days in Rome. The highlights in my opinion were definitely the huge balcony and bathtub, which was a great relief after walking miles a day. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of dishes, cooking supplies and all essentials. The blowdryer is one of the best I've ever used and I've had a lot. The living room is spacious, as is the bedroom which has loads of storage for clothing so that you don't have to live out of your suitcase the whole time. The blackout blinds in the bedroom are also excellent. The best part about this Airbnb was the hosts. They were extremely accommodating, even writing us a list of restaurants to go to as well as dropping us off at a restaurant on our first night because we had arrived quite late. They also let us leave our things at their apartment on our last day since our flight was not until 10pm as well as coordinated rides to and from the airport. The area is about a mile from the center of Trastevere so it was a bit of a walk but the tram is close. It could be a bit noisy if you are not used to living in a city but it is more traffic noise than partying and people talking except for Friday night when there is live jazz music, which was pretty cool. The best part about the location was that it is literally right above the largest street market in Europe when it occurs every Sunday on the street right below. If you are there on a Sunday, you must go check that out. At the same time, it is worth mentioning that the street is very crowded and shut down completely from 7am to 3pm on Sunday so if you have to leave on that day, it would be difficult. My only slight complaints would be that the bed was a bit firm but that is my personal preference and by boyfriend did not mind so I'm only mentioning it in case someone is specifically concerned with that. We also would have liked a few more towels but there was a washing machine so that was ok too. All in all, I would definitely recommend this property for a stay in Rome if you would like to be in an area that isn't full of tourists yet centrally located at the same time.
It is a very nice apartment, that a couple can stay for a few days. It is a little bit far from the center of Rome, but if someone likes to walk he can in two to three minutes to go to the tram station that leads to the center of Rome.. The apartment is on the second floor of a new building. When balcony doors are closed, it is very quiet. Otherwise it is very loud because of the street and the traffic. In the ground floor of the building, it has maybe on of the best modern coffee shops in Rome. So the breakfast issue is solved.! Emma is a great host and she was very flexible with the checkout. It really helped us with that. In general, we were satisfied with our choice and we had a great time.
We would highly recommend staying at this apartment. The apartment was as described on the website. Alessandro and Emma were great hosts - they arranged our airport transfer from FCO airport and were very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Alessandro met us outside the apartment and gave us some useful information about the local area including the Sunday market and various places to eat. Great visit!
