We had a very pleasant stay in Jane's flat; the bed was extremely comfortable & the place was well equipped with everything we needed for "self catering". The view of the Harbour is good & it's fun to watch the fishing boats coming and going. It's an easy 15 minutes walk to the shops & there's an excellent market on Saturdays. There's some background noise from the port activities but this did not disturb us. We found Jane to be friendly and helpful, we loved all her pictures & art; we would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you Jane!

The apartment was just like the photos. Perfect spot from which to explore Cote Vermille (Collioure is within walking distance - ask Jane how to access the walk along the cliffs to the Lidl supermaket then continue along the main road footpath). We had a great day out to Castelnou (fantastic) and Villefranche de Conflent. We also travelled over to Spain to visit Dali's home which has been turned into an attraction (note you must prebook tickets). Apartment is five min walk from town centre and is lovely and quiet. A great retreat from the crowds with a terrace and very private.

Janes flat is charming and perfectly suited for a couple. It is only 5 - 10 mins walk from the centre of Port Vendres and has parking which we really appreciated. We enjoyed sitting in the morning sunshine on the terrace watching the boats go past. Jane lives upstairs so is handy for any issues and easy to communicate with. She welcomed us with a bottle of wine!

Great apartment! Check in was easy. Carine met us and showed us the property and was very nice and helpful. The apartment has great views of the sea. It's very charming and comfortable. It's a 5 minute walk to the main area of Port Vendres, and also walking distance to Collioure. My wife said it was one of the most relaxing and calming places she has ever stayed.

From the moment we arrived, we knew that we had found somewhere special! Possibly not suitable for elderly people due to the steep stairs down to the bathroom and toilet, everything else was perfect. This property is a flat under the house that Jane lives in so, if you need anything, Jane is nearby. The walk into town is 5 - 10 minutes and then you have a huge choice of cafes, restaurants and shops. Definitely recommend this property to you.

Port Vendres is a fabulous town to visit and unwind! Not too touristy, scenic and miles of walking trails. Jane's place is in an excellent location! It is very close to town. The patio is a great place to hang out in the evenings with a glass of wine or in the morning with your coffee. The view is nice and it was fun watching the boats come and go from the harbor. You do look down upon the roof of the restaurant below, and there is a big blue "crane" that someone mentioned in another review. But the restaurant is convenient and their seafood is fresh and handy for a last minute dinner. We come from a working fishing town in the U.S. so Port Vendres felt like home to us. The big blue crane is a part of the harbor and used to haul boats in and out of the water, so it should be there and should not be frowned upon. The place is clean and tidy. Jane's art and books add ambiance; the place feels like a home, instead of just a place to stay. The shower is big with good water pressure. The bed is comfortable. There was a washer to use for a load of clothes and an iron too. The only negative that I could find was the heat, which was not Jane's fault. It was too hot for me to sleep much and the fan did not help enough. We couldn't get a cross breeze going since there is no screen on the main door and I didn't want to fight mosquitos in addition to the heat. Now, that being said, it is usually not as warm as it was the week we visited and the average person may not be as warm as I am. I would recommend this lovely home for a relaxing and convenient stay in Port Vendres! Thank you Jane!
