Nice spacious corner apartment in vibrant Jægersborgsgade, thoroughly renovated though the last 3 years by the resident architect himself.

The space

The owners love for the craftsmanship and design of Danish furniture from the fifties as well as his addiction to rosewood is unmistakable.

Guest access

From the small entrance, where the toilet is attached, the apartment opens up onto a large living area on the corner with a nice view of the street at the adjacent alleyway. There is 'lounge' area with a sofa that opens up into a smaller double bed (please note this bed is only 110 cm wide) and a dining area in the corner where the light is at its best.
Access to the separate bathroom though the semi open kitchen.
There is also a bedroom with a new 160x210 cm continental box madras bed.

Krestian's place is located in a very nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants, coffee places and bars. The flat is bright, offers a great atmosphere and is well equipped. The communication with Krestian was fast and easy. All in all I can totally recommend staying in his apartment when visiting Copenhagen :-)

Krestian's apartment has to be on one of the best streets in Copenhagen - loads of interesting boutiques, coffee shops and fantastic places to eat....a great neighbourhood, you nearly have to remind yourself to head into the centre. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable - highly recommended!

My group of 3 stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it! This is the perfect location to feel like you're living like a local because it's not in the center of the tourist crowds and is situated directly on a thriving street with more than 3 great coffee shops, amazing restaurants, convenience stores, a delicious bakery, a local breweries bar, and is within 300 meters from a bike bank to rent a bike to explore the city. Getting to the Nyhavn "picture perfect Copenhagen" scene would take about 12 minutes by bike. And you will definitely want to bike! Krestian was easy to communicate with and flexible with our check out time since we had a late flight. The apartment was comfortable for 3 people and very nicely decorated. Looks just like the pictures. While we didn't use the kitchen, you would be well equipped to cook. The main bathroom with the shower could be improved by adding a curtain, but that being said it's a modern rainfall type shower head and the water was always hot. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Krestian provided a warm welcome, sharing pastries bought from the local bakery. The apartment was very well designed and provided us with a feeling that we were staying among interesting design ethic and authentic to the local environment.

Krestian was an excellent host, providing us with great recommendations for Copenhagen and really helping us to set up our trip. The flat was lovely, with great furniture and lots of lovely touches; very comfortable and spacious. Situated in a gorgeous street in Copenhagen, Jægersborggade, the flat is close to lots of cafes, bars and restaurants and is only a short walk into the main city center. Krestian was readily available if we needed to contact him and when we arrived and ensured that there was tea and coffee for us as well as snacks. I would highly recommend this place.

Hi, I am Krestian.
I am an architect living and working in the neighbourhood of Nørrebro, here in Copenhagen. When I am not at the studio or in my 'nest' I am probably hanging out with friends on my tiny boat in the down town harbour.
I like travelling; longer trips to Africa is a favourite or weekend getaways in Europe. When I do; I rent out my place on airbnb.
