Entire flat/apartment, split over two floors and recently renovated. A 4 min walk from London Bridge station, great locations such as The Shard, The River Thames, Tower Bridge and Borough Market are on the doorstep. It's an amazing location!
This is a lived in apartment but it will be fully vacated and cleared during the rental period. It is actually a 2 bedroom apartment but one room will be used for storage to reduce clutter and locked away. If you're interested in a two bedroom, it is possible for us to store items elsewhere, so please see separate listing.
The apartment is situated within a 1930s block, with a security gate at the entrance and shared balcony to door. Please note, it's on the second floor (so two flights of stairs) and there is no elevator. Parking for one vehicle can be arranged if you let us know in advance.
The flat has been recently renovated - we tried to stay true to the mid-century modern period so it's not super-contemporary inside, but we like it that way!
As the apartment is centrally located, there is occasional noise from passersby and traffic outside during the night.
We'll leave clean bed linen and towels - shampoo and shower gel are also available, as well as tea and coffee and other condiments. Baby equipment can be left if necessary.
Interaction with guests
We will either greet guests ourselves - or a friend/member of family if we're already away.
No smoking and please respect by neighbours by keeping noise down (they'll do the same in return!).
We're a photographer and writer from London who like to ditch the London drizzle whenever possible to travel - particularly in the US. Our favourite thing about staying in an apartment rather than hotel (aside from the cost!) is that you get to see a side to cities/towns you might otherwise miss out on - living like a local and getting off the tourist track. Some of our favourite holidays experiences have been those recommended by Airbnb hosts so we know how much a good booking can impact on your overall trip.
