In a lovely, quiet spot by the pretty medieval church but a minute's walk from shops, great eateries and the quay, and five minutes to the nearest of Fowey's two sandy beaches The Sea Swallow is decorated with exquisite attention to detail, brim full of seaside light and period charm. Everything has been thought of to offer a truly unique and special place to stay for couples, friends and families seeking the seaside life.
The cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway, two couples or a family and sleeps up to 5 with plenty of room in both bedrooms for cots, too. It can be rented for short breaks or longer stays and is wonderfully equipped with everything you'll need.
There are two beautiful spacious bedrooms with sumptuous kingsize beds and deliciously luxurious goose down duvets covered in pure natural linen and Egyptian cotton sateen. The largest room has a gorgeous window seat with views to the water that is also designed to be made up as a single bed, with soft muslin curtains to pull across creating a snug extra sleeping nook. There's a cot if needed, too, and each bedroom has a hairdryer, sewing kit and clock.
The stylish kitchen is wonderfully equipped with Smeg fridge-freezer and dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave, Dualit toaster and with all the crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and utensils you could need. Wake up to a perfect latte from the Nespresso coffee machine, stocked with coffee pods... then pop round the corner for brunch.
The beautiful bathroom has a wet room rain shower and extra deep tub for a soothing candlelit soak. There's an ample supply of thick fluffy towels with snuggly towelling bathrobes and slippers.
Hidden behind the cottage is a little, secluded courtyard garden, a cosy spot for breakfast or to while away candlelit evenings in the gentle Cornish climate.
There are books, games, WiFi, MP3 dock and iPod loaded with lovely tunes, internet TV and subscription to Amazon Film so you can cuddle up for a cosy evening with your favourite flicks.

I can't be there to welcome you but am easily contactable if you need me. I will send you lots of useful info though, and some tips on our favourite things to do and places to eat and am very happy to recommend something for a special occasion too.

If you would like the cot or extra window seat bed made up as a single bed please just let us know and we'll have everything ready for you. There is a £50 charge per stay for this.
The cottage is stocked with delicious Nespresso coffee, tea, sugar, tea towels, dishcloths, bin bags, iron and ironing board, eco-friendly dishwasher tablets, washing-up and laundry liquid, cleaning detergents, hand wash, soap, shower gel and toilet tissue.
If feathers give you the sneezes just let us know and we'll happily tuck away the goose down and instead make up the beds with our pure cotton anti-allergy duvets and pillows.
A delicious treat of freshly baked scones, Cornish strawberry jam and clotted cream welcomes your arrival.

If you're holidaying with babies or small children you can travel a little lighter as we can provide a cot with mattress enhancer for extra cosiness and two sets of bedding. There is a £50 charge for the cot. We also have a trip-trap highchair, baby bath, crockery and cutlery, microwave steriliser, food mixer, little step-up, changing mat, anti-door slammers, socket covers, stair gate, bed safety rail, potty... phew! And there are toys, crayons, dressing-up clothes and books.
Your well-behaved dog is very welcome to join you on holiday though we do politely ask them to stay downstairs and to keep their paws off the furniture. There is a £50 charge for your dog per stay.
The cottage is always meticulously cleaned and left absolutely fresh and spotless for new guests arriving.
Our lovely housekeeper will be very happy to come over and give the cottage a refresh for you, or bring fresh linens and towels if you'd like them.
