Great spot. When you start walking you realize it’s pretty close to everything.

Had a good stay overall in Palermo. However, there are things that could be improved. Firstly, check in was a bit of disaster. We waited almost an hour for Marina despite contacting the host prior our trip and our arrivals regarding our arrival time. Make sure to ask her everything before she leave you at check in as she was hard to get in contact with during our stay. Bring earplugs because being in central of the town and on the main street can be really noisy. Just to remind you, it's on the 3rd floor and the stairs are quite narrow and steep. Not advisable to travel heavy if you opt for this place. But overall very convenient location - near supermarket, station, bus and shopping.

Wonderful location. Great apartment. The restaurant kitty corner is amazing and the staff are so friendly they waved at us every day.

We've been to many air bnbs before, but must say this was one of the worst ever. It was really dirty! The bathroom has not been cleaned for quite some time, especially the shower and the toilet. The shower door is broken and replaced by a shower curtain thet should be replaced quite some time ago. It does not look like on the photos. The kitchen is even more dirty. Fridge and stove have not been cleaned got quite some time. There were leftovers of food on the dishes and kitchen ustenils. When we arrived there was a pile of dishes that has apparently just been washed and was left on a really dirty old towel full of mold. The furniture has been changed. The photos are outdated. Looks quite different. Also when there was water problem - ran out of water every day round same time - nobody was responding to our messages. For us the only pros were air conditioning, spaciousness and central position. But I think that's not what Air Bnb is about.

Martina & Federico's apartment was wonderful - more than enough room for two people with a lovely mezzanine level and well equipped kitchen. It's close to plenty of restaurants and cafes as well as the train station and main tourist area in palermo. Martina & Federico were very helpful hosts and replied quickly to all of our messages. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting Palermo.

We had a great stay here. The flat is brilliantly located and very central. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. It was also very welcome to have the air conditioning! They provided some great suggestions of places to eat and drink which were really helpful. Thank you Marina!

We were welcomed by Frederico's cousin, Marina, who was very helpful and nice with some great tips and suggestions for things to do and places to eat, drink and shop. The apartment is super central and really easy to get to from the airport - we just jumped in a sharing taxi which cost the same as the bus (€7) but much comfier. The place is super cute and looked fairly as expected from the photos we had seen with a small but equipped kitchen, bathroom (shower curtain is a bit worse for wear and needs replacing), bed upstairs in the loft, small dining table and an arm chair under the loft (not another bed as shown in the photos!). Would have been a bit cosier with a two seater couch rather than one lone armchair but since we didn't spend too much time in the apartment it wasn't that big a deal. However, the pillows on the bed were very flat so would have been better with multiple or fluffier pillows. The aircon was lovely as it was quite warm in Palermo during our stay, so we generally kept the windows closed and didn't really notice the noise. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend!
