I could not recommend this lovely B&B more! My friend and I enjoyed every minute of our stay from the comfortable beds to the breathtaking views to the sheep in the neighbors yard. If you're looking for a central location on Skye with tons of character and a delicious breakfast, look no further! We would have stayed much longer if we'd had the time.

The most wonderful place to stay at. Such a beautiful house with so many intricate details. The setting is a delight- hills, ruins, and sheep all around you. The breakfast is fantastic, and so are Evelyn and Robyn who were as accommodating as anyone could be. All in all an amazing stay that made me wish I could live there all year long.

Our stay near Portree was one of our highlights, made so by the charm and warmth of ours gracious hosts (Evelyne & Robin) who generously gave of their time and their helpful advice when asked. The home is gorgeously charming and eclectic in its decor, the breakfast was simply wonderful (one component, the oat porridge was the best I've ever had) and my daughter was captivated & enamoured by the sheep just down the path...we had so much fun here! Would definitely stay here again! All the best to both of you! P.S. Jessica & I eventually undertook a single-track road near Armadale :-)

Evelyn and Robin made us really welcome and were wonderfully accommodating in their beautiful home. The room was great, and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, with lots of homemade goodies. We wished we could have had more time to explore the area and to have a few more nights stay. Thank you so much for having us.

Before moving to Skye I lived in Edinburgh on and off for approx. 20 yrs. I am well travelled and have previously lived and worked abroad. My main line of work has been child welfare and I have worked for a number of charities large and small. When Robin and I met we wanted to move to the west coast of Scotland and eventually settled on Skye. I am very glad we did, we love the island and we are so glad that we settled here. Three of my passions are vegetarian cookery, interior design and meeting people from all walks of life. To me this is what running a B&B is all about, I want everyone who comes to Clachamish House to leave with happy memories and a dream of returning.
