We had a wonderful stay at Cecile's place. She wasn't there, but we had a warm welcome by Peter and Trisha. The room was nicely furnitured and the pool with the view at the ocean kept us. Peter was also a great Guide to the boiling lakes and Trisha made a wonderful barbecue at the poolparty! We can definitely recommend this place and would come back to stay here!

Rent a car with high clearance for the access road is rough....best for all Dominica's roads anyway. Note the room is at back of house - which the photographs indicate honestly . It is well planned and every thing you need is available. We walked down the hill for dinner on 2 nights as there is an excellent and cheap local fish cafe....you choose your piece of fish and indicate how you would like it cooked. Drink a beer sitting on the sea wall while waiting for your meal to cook- perfect. The walk home is uphill but fine...and we are not young. Just take a torch for the last stretch.

Cecile is a very good host and helps in all questions you have. One can enjoy the stay in Sibouli Valley even only to sit there and look at the birds an the flowers. The first time when you arrive you should have a guide ore a taxidriver who shows you the place otherwise it´s difficult to find. Cecile had a technical problem with the room what we rented but she offered us a nice appartement for the same price. We enjoyed our stay in Dominica very much and this was also thanks to our nice hostess Cecile.

It was very nice to stay at the Sibouli Valley with Cecile The room was very comfortable with private toilet and shower The decoration was cozy and nice The room was equipped with a small oven and there was tea and coffee at hand Also, the pool was somehow warm and incredible The down side was that the room had only one small fan and got hot during the night Aside from that, no complains the access was quite fine, but be aware that (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)Maps cannot exactly take you to the property. So ask Cecile for the map and you should be fine - with her map there is no secret in reaching Sibouli Valley

I'm visiting every country in the world, and Dominica has turned out to be one of my favourites, in no small part due to the wonderful friendliness of the people. Cecile and her family were no exception. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and shown around the room (ensuite) and property. The bed was really comfortable and I loved the styling of the bathroom, with sort of aztec-style features. Simple breakfast items were also available for us. The swimming pool was a highlight - great to relax around with a beer or two. We chatted quite a bit with both Cecile and her boyfriend, and they gave us loads of useful tips about the island. Lovely people. Sibouli Valley itself is located up (and then down) quite a steep hill around 10 minutes walk from the seafront, but we never actually had to walk up the hill, as the bus drivers were happy to drop us off close by. Going down in the daytime, you can usually pick up a bus as you go - the friendly drivers will ask where you're going. Walking back the final 250m or so to Sibouli Valley may be a little daunting for some but it's fine if you have a torch on your phone. Recommended!

Cecile's place was lovely and very convenient. She was a great host, available and informative without compromising privacy at all. And Rita and Princess were absolutely sweethearts as well. The accommodations were clean and charming and very convenient to Roseau and Champagne Beach and other places of interest in the south/west of the island. I would highly recommend it!
