Pam & Lance are wonderful hosts and the Lazy Turtle Palace is a gem. My mom and I stayed for two nights, and we had everything we needed. The RV feels like a quiet forest retreat; a short walk down a sandy dirt road through the trees leads you to the beautiful tea-colored, spring-fed Santa Fe River. It's dreamy, and I can't wait to go back.

This was perfect for our girls getaway. Loved the dock on the river for morning coffee and evening cocktail. Perfect location for floating down the Ichetucknee and kayaking the Santa Fe. Local vendors treated us warmly after they found out we were staying at the Turtle. Can't wait to return with my family soon!

It was our first time in Lazy Turtle Lodge but it won't be our last one, for sure. We had such an amazing and enjoyable weekend in this wonderful place. Our hosts were very friendly and very helpful with instructions and recommendations that made our experience unforgettable. We had so much fun, the view is beautiful and the springs were marvelous. We recommend this place 100% if you wanna spend your vacation time in a natural and delightful Paradise.

The setting was beautiful, close to the Santa Fe River. Evenings filled with the sounds of owls, frogs and crickets. If you are looking for a taste of "old" Florida, this is it. We could walk to the river and put our kayaks in and go. There are springs in either direction on the river. The "tiny" house was beautiful, filled with art and upscale amenities. All in all beautifully put together and friendly hosts who were there for anything we needed.

If you are looking for a secluded, beautiful, clean, comfy, escape from reality look no further. This little place is so relaxing and clean. The outdoor shower was out of this world! The only downfall is the owners being Florida fans lol. We will be back.

AMAZING! The Sante Fe river and its many springs are really beautiful and Pam and Lance's place is right on the water. The set up was perfect, even better than described. The RV was clean and comfortable and private, although we spent most of our time kayaking the river or cooking on the deck. The outdoor shower was a nice touch, private, secluded, heated. We rented kayaks through RUM 138 which has a shuttle service that brought us and our kayak right back to the RV. We couldn't be more impressed with the hospitality and overall friendliness of Pam and Lance and Doug and staff over at RUM 138. Highly recommend! Thanks, again, Pam and Lance!

Outgoing and adventurous. I love people and want to share our beautiful surroundings with people that love nature and need to get away from the every day stress. I love to spend time with my kids, cook, entertain, dance, read, travel, and be on the river.
