The location, and price make this place worth staying at. It's pretty cheap, and easily accessible. It's not the nicest place on earth but it's not bad either. You're pretty much left alone, unless you need aid from the host which is nice. However, the host frequently would field questions to my male friend, instead of me, despite the fact that I was the one paying for the air bnb, which wasn't ideal to me, Overall though, the host is nice and helpful. The place is in a good location in regards to walking distances, and it's inexpensive. A tip, don't go on the rooftop balcony area, it locks! Also the Indian/Pakistani food place on the corner/across the street is fantastic! And the women, at True Love Cafe next door is super sweet!

The place was convenient. Though outside of the guesthouse wasn't safe (homelesses etc), the house was well secured, so it was no problem. And Arya and the people in the house was very kind. Thank you very much!

Decent place to stay for the sub 40 price. It is exactly as photographed and the location in downtown is great! He also provided free parking nearby which is amazing for downtown Toronto. Like everybody else said, it's not the best of neighborhoods but we were never approached the 5 nights we stayed. An upside, it was super easy to check in and check out when we wanted. Some downsides, the window did not stay up and the central air conditioning did not work. Thankfully, our Host was really responsive and helpful and the building manager saved the day by bringing up his own personal fan. They've both really nice.

The room was clean, as was the shared space. Good location if you're working downtown. Wireless worked well. Decent bed, good linens. Don't be put off by some of the locals in the neighbourhood.

Very nice stay at this place, well situated, clean and quiet. All the advantages of an hotel but with an access to the kitchen, which is very convenient. The room was spacious and had an privileged access to a terrace. I would highly recommend this place to visit the city.

Arya was friendly and helpful. He allowed us to check in early which was really great. The bed was comfortable, there was hanging space and hangars and a large set of drawers, and a TV. The shared bathroom was right next door. The downstairs coin laundry was easy to operate and efficient. There was a big range of equipment in the kitchen. The place has lots of buses and trolley buses, lots of passing taxis and is very near the centre. The neighbourhood is in a low socio-economic area, but people were very friendly and we did not find that we were bothered or frightened. The house is old so Room 8 was up 2 flights of narrow stairs and was very small. The room was quite hot as the window faces a wall, without any way of easily cooling it.
