The stay in Maggie's house is a very nice experience. The house is located in a residential area, a very quiet and nice neighborhood. The bus station to downtown or airport is just a few minutes away. The room is large with private bathroom. It is very clean and comfortable. Maggie is very nice to talk to and I learnt a lot about from the talks with her and her family members. And also the nice breakfast, the bread smells very nice.

If you are planning a trip to Guayaquil, do not hesitate in booking with Maggie! Staying with her was like staying with family. She was very attentive to all my needs. Maggie is all about the little details that can make a stay with her so special. She arranged for safe taxi rides and also provided excellent home cooked meals. Every meal was freshly made, healthy and accompanied by a fresh tropical juice. Breakfast included freshly cut up fruit, fresh tropical juice, coffee and a warm bun with jam and local cheese. I had my own private room/bathroom, including powerful wifi, A/C, a mini fridge and desk. Twice a week my room would be cleaned and sheets/towels changed. The home and patio are also kept spotless. I had free access to her lovely patio where you could enjoy your meal and admire her many plants and landscape. Maggie's family is lovely! Everyone is so friendly and warm. They all have a special quality and energy that make you feel comfortable and at home. If I come back to Guayaquil I would book with Maggie again, in a heartbeat!

It's like staying at your most favourite aunt. Maggie gives you a warm welcome and most enjoyable stay. She helps you where she can and is more than willing to explain where to be and see in Guayaquil and arrange a cab for you. She asks how your day was and if you are in need of anything or just for a nice chitchat. She makes you feel at home. The room is clean with an own bathroom, a double bed, a sofa and a desk with fast wifi. Anything you need for a more than pleasant stay in Guayaquil. Highly recommended!

I know what i am getting coming to Maggie's. I take the room with the balcony, i can smoke my cigars and relax, the refrigerator holds my beer and snacks, can stretch out on the couch, and the stand up fan blows the right amount of air. I don't use the ac, a cool shower in my own bathroom is great, i escape to the warm weather so the heat is perfect. Maggie cooks so i need not go out, but when i do, i hit the Cappuccino for almuerzo at the Rocafuerte street, a quick bus ride from her house. Just head for the malecon and you will find it. I enjoy all the free concerts that Maggie recommend also. This is now my fourth time and I will come back again. I hope my review will be helpful , Thanks Maui

This is my first visit to Ecuador and I had unbelievable luck to find Maggie on AirBnB. I really appreciate her sharing information with me regarding the city, the country, the culture and the people. Besides that Maggie saved me huge amount of time by serving her incredibly delicious lunches and dinners for really reasonable price. Nothing disturbed me, I worked easily in the room, which by the way, is comfortable with a nice balcony. I spent several hours there relaxing and thinking on my projects. The room and the bathroom are clean and got cleaned twice while my stay. If you are looking where to stay in Guayaquil and have luck seeing Maggie has a free room, stop thinking, you're wasting your time. Just press that bloody red button ;-)

It was the second time I stayed at Maggies. It says it all when I tell you that all my future stays in Guayaquil will be with her.
