Relax next to water with a golf course view from this lower level walkout. We're within 8 min. from Eppley Airport, Downtown Omaha, TD Ameritrade Park, the College World Series, UNMC, the Old Market, Creighton, the casinos, and Centurylink Center.
This waterfront 2,200 square foot walkout includes a large family room, 2 bedrooms with queen size and full size beds, a fireplace, card room, large bar area, and poolroom. The bar is equipped with a dishwasher, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Cuisinart Griddler and Waffle Maker, and Keurig. We also will provide linens, toiletries, coffee, other drinks, continental breakfast items, and snacks. There is a 65 inch TV in the main area, another TV in the card room, and wireless internet. (Our cable TV has SHOWTIME, STARZ, HBO, TMC, EPIX, ESPN, and Cinemax.) The view of the golf course and downtown skyline are spectacular. Lots of parking is available in a very quiet, safe, and private neighborhood. Life at the lake doesn't get any better! I also have a twin air mattress and a queen double pillowtop air mattress available for you to use. Please do not use the leather couches for sleeping.
The basement walks out to a fire pit seating area and another patio with a gas fireplace and seating next to a koi pond and waterfall. There is a large gas grill just outside the patio door. We have the equipment available so you can kayak or fish in the canal that is located behind the house. I can also provide sets of golf clubs for guests to use.

We will be available in the upper level of the house if you have any needs.

I am a retired teacher and Bob owns an optical company that is the largest distributor of Oakleys in the area.
We are active in the community of Carter Lake as well as Omaha and Council Bluffs. I participate in the church choir and am in charge of environment. Shopping for unusual themed decorating items for use at home and at church is one of my passions. I am a member of the Assistance League of Omaha and served as a chair on the Silent Auction Committee. When the weather warms up, I like to be outside golfing, boating, and working in my yard.
Bob is in the Metro Softball Hall of Fame and on their nominating board. He is still very involved putting on hitting clinics, helping with tournaments, and hanging out at the fields. Being a softball player, you would expect a beer drinker, but he used to carry a wine opener with him to the field! His wine cellar contains an extensive collection mostly from Napa and Sonoma that he is always eager to share with other wine lovers.
We both enjoy entertaining. Throughout the year, we hosted several events including a Mardi Gras party, a Black with a Touch of Red party, and 2 wedding rehearsal dinners. We, also, enjoy the privacy and quiet of where we live. Looking at the view behind our house is sometimes like relaxing in my own private resort. I'm content hanging out close to home while my husband likes to get together with friends at the Council Bluffs casinos and take several trips a year to Vegas.
