Beautiful 1906 restored Craftsman, 7 minute drive to downtown Seattle and walking distance to parks, shops, restaurants & bus lines. 3-bedrooms, 2.5 baths, beautiful back yard & great location! Perfect home base for discovering Seattle!

The space

This 1906 beautifully restored, Craftsman home is in a lovely established neighborhood just west of downtown Seattle and is perfect for 1 or 2 families. Walk a few short blocks to a downtown bus line and be in the heart of Seattle in minutes. Or, set off on an urban hike that will take you through historic Capital Hill as you head to the Pike Place Market or the waterfront.

Enjoy one of the many restaurants within the lovely village of Madrona just blocks from our house or cook dinner in the chef's kitchen. After dinner, settle in to the lovely backyard with a glass of wine or walk to the village for ice cream and window shopping.

This 3-bedroom house comfortably sleeps 8 and includes queen, double and twin (with trundle) beds as well as a very comfortable double pull-out couch in the private, finished basement.

We felt so welcomed when we arrived. Beautiful flowers, very welcomed snacks after a full day of travel and terrific notes on where everything could be found and how things worked. Even when we couldn't get the wifi Marya was able to help us remotely within only a few minutes of our message to her. The house is spectacular and if it wasn't for some serious rain, we would have spent much more time in the backyard.

I'm so happy you all had a good time! Sorry about the rain but they say it's good luck on a wedding day. My husband and I were married in Seattle over Labor Day weekend 18 years ago so the date is definitely good luck! Please come back any time - we would love to host you again.

Our family 5 people are very happy to stay Marya's amazing house for 10 days, we all won't to leave. The kitchen is very wonderful, there are lot of professional devices in their kitchen, and the garden is very exquisite, we are very enjoy to have a tea and dinner in this garden. The washer and the dryer is very big. The community is very quiet and friendly, there are a big yard for children , two tennis court for free, walking after dinner on the street is very nice , which is very close the Washington Lake. The communicate is very easy with Marya by (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). Everything is very nice, absolutely the house is your best choose if like cooking and enjoy the sunshine after meal....

Response from Marya:
I'm so happy you and your family had a good stay in my home and that you enjoyed the many amenities our house, the Madrona neighborhood and Seattle has to offer! I'm sorry you felt the Queen sized bed in the main bedroom wasn't big enough but these charming old Craftsman houses in Seattle (our home was built in 1906) afford little space for a King bed. Enjoy the rest of your extended stay in Washington state and please come back for a visit soon!
