Brook greeted everyone with wonderful Alaskan hospitality. She is a 5 Star cook and baker. No one has ever made us feel more at home;). Her staff are local high school students and her own lovely children. We simply loved staying at this B&B:). Simply outstanding in every way;). Stan and Amy Lujan from Juneau, Alaska

I cannot imagine a more warm and inviting place to stay in all of Alaska. The home was both charming and modern. We arrived late but the instructions were clear and we got in without any trouble. We slept well and woke up to a five star breakfast. The company was perfect, the surroundings were beautiful and the price was right. We loved it.

Just got back from an amazing trip to Alaska. One highlight was staying at the Bell of the Woods B & B in Seward, Alaska. Nick and Brooke have a beautiful place that is quiet and peaceful, and they were very hospitable hosts. The breakfast around their beautiful table with people from all over the world was the best. We truly felt spoiled and will return! They gave us good recommendations for our travels. If you are looking for something different than a hotel, I would definitely recommend booking a trip here.

It was the best air b&b experience we've ever had! My wife and I stayed at Nick and Brooke's for 2 nights during July 4th, and let me tell ya, they rock! We were stuck on the road because there was a major accident and kept changing time of arrival, and they're really responsive and gave us a piece of mind. When we finally arrived at 3 a.m. the place was lit and very easy to find per the instructions. What welcomed us next morning was an unexpected 3-course breakfast, starting with oven-toasted grapefruit (O.M.G.), spinach-mushroom-egg melt (O.M.F.G.) and home made blueberry bakery (I'm sorry I don't remember the official name of it). I am literally out of words to describe the awesomeness of the host and the warm welcome we received, which prepped us well for a day at sea. Everything is so clean and organized, the room was super cozy! We highly recommend staying there whenever you're in Seward! Love, Bruce & Kara

We had a lovely stay at Bell in the Woods. Nick and Brooke were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. They are very gracious hosts and provided fantastic accommodations in their beautiful home. The rooms were perfectly decorated with everything you would need and made for a very cozy stay. On top of that, the awesome three course breakfast was just the cherry on top. We thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely love to go back again. Thanks for being such wonderful host and sharing your beautiful house!!

Staying at Bell in the Woods was an awesome experience. The hosts, Nick and Brooke, really know how to take care of their guests. I normally don't visit the same place twice, but I'd come back to Seward just so that I could stay there. Room was great and clean, plus it had a great hair dryer (with long hair I can appreciate). The shared spaces are super comfortable and it was easy to mingle with other travelers. And the breakfast food - incredible! Nick also helped facilitate activities for the area and they have lots of recommendations for the peninsula and Anchorage area. I would stay here again, no doubt about it.

During my Seward part of my 10-day Alaskan trip, I am SO happy I decided to skip the traditional hotel route and stay with Brooke and Nick instead! Their home is incredibly spacious, comfortable, modern yet cozy, and private. It's also in a quiet neighborhood with the main Downtown area only a short 5-10min drive away. Brooke greeted me as soon as I arrived and gave me a tour of the B&B, which I thought was really nice and thoughtful. Even though I only stayed for one night, I am really glad I got to meet both Brooke and Nick and get to know them a bit in the morning. Brooke is a fantastic cook and makes an incredible 3-course breakfast, which held up well for a full 11-hour day of sea kayaking in Aialik Bay that day. For anyone staying in Seward, I highly, highly recommend staying with Brooke and Nick! It's a great value and you also get a "local feel" to the area rather than a touristy vibe by staying at a chain hotel. I promise you won't regret it :)
