PLEASE NOTE: You will not be given directions to drive here, access is only by the river. You will have to ask people at the front desk of Dream Valley to call for you, and to reach them it may take up to an hour. So- BE PREPARED TO WAIT. If, for example you hang by the pool at Dream Valley and plan on getting back before dusk, BRING BUG SPRAY because you will likely get chewed up waiting for them to answer. I also don't suggest making a reservation to do other tours with them. You will likely be scheduled for the wrong day, be given sparse information, and then still have to keep asking about it to know for instance what time you should go. For various reasons, we cancelled our planned tour to the ATM cave. They do charge for meals, although they don't specify any of that when you show up. It is written on their site, and that is also likely my fault for not noting it, but this is our 5th stay, so it is hard to keep up with. They will randomly ask for you credit card number without being sure as to what they are charging you for. Maybe the food? I guess we'll see in a few days. Understanding you are in a jungle, the toilets are outdoor portapotties that you feed wood chips. They are supposed to turn them ever so often, but you may show up and it could still be whoever's remains from last week. Then you will have to ask them to please turn it for you. They will supply some dinky little fan for you, and you will wonder if it's a practical joke, because it is only USB powered, and the only outlets you see will be out of reach and comical to get to. If perchance you get the fan working, you'll wonder what the point of having it even is. With all of that aside, the staff is friendly. But the price here is not right for what you actually get, and may not even be right for what you THINK you are going to get. Just spend the money and stay at Dream Valley or find another place.
